Today we are rewatching Grey's Anatomy season 2 episode 12, Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer!

Grey’s Anatomy focuses on the lives of surgical interns, residents, and attendings as they develop into seasoned doctors while balancing personal and professional relationships.

The series follows the life of Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo), the daughter of the famous general surgeon Ellis Grey, starting from her acceptance into the surgical residency program at the fictional Seattle Grace Hospital. During her time as an intern, Grey works alongside fellow physicians Cristina Yang (Sandra Oh), Izzie Stevens (Katherine Heigl), Alex Karev (Justin Chambers) and George O'Malley (T. R. Knight).

If you’ve never seen Grey’s Anatomy before, just know there are a lot of characters with tons of plot lines that intertwine, tangle, and tie in a myriad of ways.

Meredith and Derek are not together, since he’s married! (She didn’t know, okay!) Derek and his wife, Addison are trying to make things work but he still clearly has feelings for Meredith. Izzy and Alex were together for half a second until he cheated on her with Nurse Olivia. Dr. Bailey is pregnant with a little boy. George is still in love with Meredith but pretending not to be. Christina is dating her attending, Dr. Burke, a talented heart surgeon. Alex failed his medical boards and if he doesn’t pass the second time he will no longer be a surgeon. Last episode Meredith and Izzy got a dog.
