Ep. 05: Theo Williams — Speaking Up for What's Right

Selling The Mountains

Feb 24 2021 • 48 mins

Theo Williams is originally from Sheffield, England and found his way to Aspen after being chosen to coach a local soccer team and build a nonprofit soccer club. He quickly fell in love with the active mountain lifestyle, accepting community, and relaxed culture which led him to call the Roaring Fork Valley home. His passion for helping people and building lasting relationships, as well as expertise in the hotel and rental industry, led him to real estate.

When he isn’t working, you can find him pursuing his passion for fitness, hiking, and biking. He was recently honored with the Community Service Award from his brokerage firm Slifer Smith & Frampton after biking from Aspen to Santa Monica, California raising $26,000 for the Aspen Hope Center.

In our conversation discussed the challenges of starting out as a new broker and the most important things to focus on. How following your passion and tackling something that seems impossible can lead to bigger opportunities and outreach far beyond what you ever imagined. Lastly we talked about diversity and tolerance in a mountain town and the importance of speaking up if you don't think something is right.
