Devon was born in Hayward, CA and lived there for a couple of years before moving to Manteca, CA. Devons dad was a hard worker and had a vison to move his family out of Hayward and raise his children in Manteca. Devon talks about Manteca not having much to do but there are certain pockets in the city that are rougher than other areas. Although Manteca is one of the smaller cities in the Valley, it also comes with envy from one another. Devon expresses how since Manteca is small, there are people who dont want to see you make it out. Devon also mentions that he has a twin brother and that they are similar but also very different from each other. although Devon had both parents and comes from a good family that's supportive, he likes to go through his own experiences and learn life as he goes. Dovon explains how he realized he wanted to start rapping after watching a T.V show back in high school. High school was actually when he started taking the music serious because one of his friends by the name of "Gibby" told him to start taking his talent serious. Devon mentions how he found success in the music but once he came around the behind the scenes with other artist he once looked up to, he realized there was a lot of phony things going on. Allybo is from South Hayward, CA aka The heart of the bay. He bounced around different sections throughout the Bay Area such as, San Francisco, West Oakland and all over Hayward. Life was rough growing up for Allybo. He expressed how there was always alot of people living in the homes he lived in. His Dad & Mom was both incarcerated for a period of time. His stepmom's house was always getting rated by the police and he mentions that the task already knew him before he even jumped off the porch into them streets. In 2015 Allybo's life would forever change because his youngest brother was murdered, and it is something that won't ever sit right with him. He also lost a cousin that was more like his brother he said. Situations like that you can never bounce back from, you just learn to deal with them as time goes on. Allybo has 8 kids and one of them being Lil Allybo. He is well known just like his dad. He also has put out music and is talented behind the microphone. Unfortunately, he is incarcerated at the moment but hopefully will be out sonner than later. That leaves 7 kids that allybo has to cook for. Allybo mentions how if there can be one thing that is said about him as a father, it would be that dad cooked for them. Allybo is known for whipping up 5 star dishes and posting them on social media. Devien grew up on the Westside of San Jose with his lil brother in a single parent home. He explains how other family stepped up since his father wasn't around. Now that Devien is a father himself, he really understands how big the father role is when it comes to a kid's life. J Stew  broke down how he was always around older people while growing up in Stockton, CA so he grew up faster than most kids his age. He always was soaking up game from all the older guys so he always carried himself very mature. J Stew mentions how he and his siblings went to a foster home and were separated from each other because his parents went to jail and were dealing with life struggles. J Stew was separated from his two sisters and went on to bouncing around from foster homes and group homes while his sisters got adopted by a family eventually. He mentions how at the age of 21 years old he met his biological father and was able to ask certain questions he always had in the back of his mind. Yogi Calhoon grew up in Brookfield Village a section in Oakland that most people know it as where NBA Star Damian Lillard grew up at. Yogi explains how he's 3rd generation and learned a lot of his game from his brother and father. Yogi ended up losing his father at a young age due to gun violence. But, later down the line he ended up losing his brother as well to a motorcycle accident. He says it left in shock and wasn't able to mourn his brother's death because he had to tighten up his boots and get with the program. There was business that still had to handle at the end of the day and property that had to be taken care of. Yogi also talks about going back and forth from Cali to Texas because he had some family out there and whenever he was out there, he had to fight for his respect being from California. Yogi Calhoon joined the Bay Area rap scene naturally due to the fact he was surrounded by other artist and people who owned their own labels. He mentions how he came up with the name Yogi Calhoon & he started off freestyling before taking music seriously. Yogi was really strategic with the way he moved but to him it seemed like common sense. Early on in his rap journey he managed to stay Indy and collab with some legendary names such as, Pretty Black, X-Raided, The Jacka, Keak Da Sneak, Lil Flip, Gucci Mane and the list goes on. Louie B Tha Name grew up on the Eastside of San Jose and talks about how treacherous it was during the early 2000’s. He mentions how the badlandz name was adopted from a place where a lot of Fossils were found, and it reminded him of the Eastside from all the people that would be found deceased in random places. Later on it would become the record label name. Louie B has been through many obstacles at a young age and yet he still strives for greater. He mentions how his relatives would share sayings with him to help him be aware of the streets and so hopefully he wouldn’t get sucked to deep into them. But, being the natural born leader that he is, he always made the best decisions for himself. Louie B mentions how he got shot at a lake and surviving it made him feel like he had a second chance at life and decided to go all in with the music. Katana grew up on the Eastside of San Jose, CA and went through a lot of life challenges that she had overcame and learn to grow from at a young age. She mentions how she moved to Texas for some time once she was older but decided that it wasn't for her so she moved back to her grandmas in San Jose. Katana had a father in the picture who was dealing with his own battles but still close to her and was someone she can call on whenever she needed him. The most important person who played a big role in her up bringing was her grandma who still to this day is in her life and continues to be her person as she's chasing her dreams. Katana explains that writing was her way of getting through things and soon turned into music. Music is like a drug that helps her pain vanish as she releases it into a art form where other people can relate to. NicoFasho  is a funk artist out of Livermore, CA. He talks about growing up in Livermore and the things he's experienced growing up after his parents decided to move from Sacramento, CA to be closer to work and raise a family. Nico breaks down all the ethnicities he's mixed with but takes on the Mexican identity much more due to the fact that both parents come from Michoacán bloodline in Mexico. He explained his first time going to Michoacán and feeling a culture shock but feeling more at home than his actual home in Livermore, CA. MadManRich is from Livermore, CA. He had both of his parents growing up and was into a lot of sports. He eventually stuck to motorcycle racing until he had a injury almost leading him to being disabled. Rich explained how hanging out at the skate park was what led him to trying different drugs due to the people he was surrounded by. Eventually he got addicted to the feeling of taking pills and it took him down a dark crazy road. Rich got enrolled several times to rehab and went cold turkey. Meaning he just stopped taking pills without working his way down little by little. MadManRich turned to music as his outlet and eventually left the addiction in the past. He became obsessed with Vocal Mixing and was perfectionist. Being a perfectionist played a big part because it allowed his work to stand out and get recognition through people who would listen to the artist he was mixing & Engineering for. J Stalin is an artist from Cypress Village in West Oakland, CA.  He’s real energetic and is full of wisdom based off life experiences. J Stalin explains how he moved across town to East Oakland with his mom but still went to school in West Oakland because his mom wanted him to still grow up and be surrounded by the same people he started off with. J Stalin always had a love for music before making music. He started off with the rap name J V then transitioned to the name J Stalin. He built a relationship with artist Richie Rich who was well known up & down California. He was also a good friend of rap legend 2pac. Richie Rich believed in J Stalin and became somewhat of a mentor in the music game for him. He also became good friends with The Jacka a well know artist in the bay area after collabing on a song called, "Never Blink." J Stalin was also inspired by Death Row Records and No Limit Records leading him to create Livewire. J Stalin isn't your ordinary artist, he is also an entrepreneur at heart and created his own Record label, Clothing store & Barbershop. Lew took his talent from Oakland and made his way to L.A to network and get different exposure. He eventually landed an opportunity to sign a deal with "Create Music Group." Pulled up to West Oakland to learn more about Holli Hussle’s life and his music journey he’s pursuing. Holli Hussle was born in Fairfield but grew up in San Francisco where most of his family lives. He grew up pretty fast due to the fact he had a lot of siblings and he was the third oldest so he was outside a lot. He was surrounded by gang violence, drug dealing and lot of activities that go on in the hood. Unfortunately he fell into the same foot steps as many others in his surroundings by going in and out of jail. But, one thing that stood out about Holli Hussle is that he’s a people person. He knows how to adapt to many situations and carries himself with high standards. He started getting serious about music in 2016 when he was in the studio with a group of friends and one of his songs actually got some attention by other artist such as San Francisco artist Yatta & Sacramento rapper Mozzy. Through all his ups and downs with music he is still highly motivated by his Girlfriend Stunna Girl also a well known artist through out califronia & other places. Holli Hussle ended the interview with some motivating words for people who have talent but are stuck in the streets. Simply letting them know that in order to progress you have to separate yourself from others so you are able to reach certain goals and allow yourself to grow as a person .

Pulled up to Richmond, CA also known as "The Rich" to learn more about artist "SollyBo" and how he grew up in Richmond. SollyBo had both parents in his household and grew up with 2 brothers out of 3. He talks highly about his dad being a good role model to him and teaching him ways as a man. He had a very humble beginning when his dad worked at the shelter, and he would go around every once in a while, and it brightened his horizons knowing that his situation could be worse. SollyBo mentions that he would never try to portray a harder life that he doesn't live. Alot of people do that to make an excuse for themselves. He had both parents in his life and that was something to be grateful for. SollyBo also touches bases on the fact that Richmond is a small city but is very political. He says you don't necessarily have to get caught up in the politics if you just do you. It's also hard to stay away from them though because everyone nearly knows everyone. A couple things that helped him was having a strict mom that was always on him and his brother's case. Also playing sports. Sports takes up a lot of time and doesn't allow you to get to distracted. And last but not least, just being a stand-up person and standing on your morals allows you to be your own persona. SollyBo talks about how he got into music. Learning to play the piano at a young age and taking a liking to rap because it was a way to express himself.

Siete7x is a upcoming artist out of Compton, CA . He talks about his life and how he grew up under his aunts roof. His aunt was old school so he picked up a lot of her ways.Siete says his mom was around but she was to young to maintain him at the age of 15. She was just a teenager herself so she was trying to figure out her stuff as well. Growing up with his aunt he was able to look outside and see everything that was going on, on the corner. From people gambling, selling drugs & Fights Siete witnessed it all at a early age. One thing stood out to him the most that made him want to jump off the porch and see what the streets had to offer him was the older guys getting money and shinning. Siete says he liked playing football when he was young because he was good at it but the streets had a hold of him. Siete has seen and experienced a lot growing up but nothing could change who he is as a person. A lot of his music is based off pain & the stuff that goes on in Compton. Lil 9 talks about having both parents and how his dad was a big factor in his life at a early age. His dad being apart of the gang activities which led him to getting shot and messing up his leg permanently. His dad getting shot really opened his eyes to see the streets first hand for what they were and helping him realize thats not the route he wanted to take. He also had his mom who was a hard worker and leading by example for Lil 9. He mentions how his mom is a strong believer in having a couple sources of income and working hard in order to do and have things. Her hard working ethic definitely rubbed off on him due to the fact he works hard and takes his craft serious. A big part of Lil 9 staying on track and away from the streets was playing sports. Mike Dinero grew up in East L.A with his mom and five siblings. He talked about how he would take two buses everyday with his brother just to get to school and back. He mentioned how hard his mother work to help provide a roof over their heads and food in fridge. Although his mother wasn't around, he still never let the streets fully take a hold of him. Even though he would hang out with people from his neighborhood and ditch school from time to time he still managed to have other things like skateboarding help him escape from the streets. Mike Dinero also talks about how his Senior year in high school took a turn when they moved to Downey and started going to Downey High School. He went from taking two buses to walking distance to his new school. He explains how nothing really changed besides the luxury cars, kids with money and the lingo. Mike Dinero was introduced to music once he made the jump to Downey. If he never moved to Downey, he would have never discovered the talent he has for music.
