Rowe is a New York-based American composer and musical director whose works have been performed in NYC, the West End and around the world. His off-Broadway musical, Zombie Prom, has reached cult status and was filmed starring RuPaul and Katy Mixon. There have been more than 3,500 different productions around the world. He has written many other shows including the Fix, The Witches of Eastwick, or Brother Russia to name just a few. He has also music directed hundreds of musical theatre productions He is also a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation, and works with arts professionals around the world. Dana co-authored a book with Dr. James C. Kaufman called Lessons in Creativity from Musical Theatre Characters, which is scheduled to come out in December this year. Dana is currently working on several more books focusing on personal development and creative careers. Dana and his husband split their time between Provincetown, MA, and New York City. Then tune in!James is a Professor of Educational Psychology at the Neag School of Education at the University of Connecticut. He has written or edited more than 50 books. These include the forthcoming The Creativity Advantage (Cambridge) and Lessons in creativity from musical theatre characters (with Dana P. Rowe; Routledge);as well as the Cambridge Handbook of Creativity (with Robert J. Sternberg) and Creativity 101. James has won many awards, including Mensa’s research award, the Torrance Award from the National Association for Gifted Children, and APA’s Berlyne, Arnheim, and Farnsworth awards. He co-founded two major journals, Psychology of Aesthetics, Creativity, and the Arts and Psychology of Popular Media Culture.
