He had previously worked in a dissecting lab, where he dealt with human corpses. He also worked at the Cracow Institute of Zoology, where he could observe the process of preparing animal skins. His employment was terminated the day after he killed all of the institute's rabbits during his shift; he couldn't explain his actions. Janczewski was charged with aggravated murder with particular cruelty. He maintains that he did not know Katarzyna Zowada. As of September 2019, Janczewski has not yet been released. Lori Farmer’s mother, Sheri Farmer, has felt the pain of this crime for 45 years. She says she and her husband Bo have some peace, but there will never be closure. The Sad Story of Holly Jones | ANATOMY OF MURDER #19 Holly Jones was a 10-year-old girl who tragically lost her life in 2003. It was an event that left a family and community devastated. On May 12, 2003, while walking a friend home, she was kidnapped, sexually assaulted, and strangled by Michael Briere. After dismembering her body, Briere attempted to discard the remains by placing them in two bags and used weights to try to sink them in the Toronto Harbour. The bags were found the next morning.
