And as we have tried to come up with a strategy and a vision for Apple, it started with “What incredible benefits can we give to the customer? Where can we take the customer?” Not starting with “Let’s sit down with the engineers and figure out what awesome technology we have and then how are we going to market that?” And I think that’s the right path to take."16:31 - Are there really credible alternatives to Facebook or Linkedin? Gamification is a mechanism to gather data to help personalisation and determine individual outcomes. 09:43 - Gaming is different from gamification. This might include more well known platforms that have a tie-up with education like Minecraft or Roblox. 11:40 - Partnerships with industry and government are powerful to implement technology as well as develop skills that are needed for the workforce. Addressing skills shortages at universities might be too late. 13:45 - Allowing students to gain industry qualifications whenever they can helps differentiate them in the workforce and or for university entry. 16:12 - Triple-A Game studios are teaching history through gaming titles such as 'Assassin's Creed Odyssey' 16:50 - Some of the most compelling uses of AR, VR and the Metaverse are for education. 17:19 - It's not just about content. Gaming can teach problem solving, working in teams and collaboration and overcoming adversity. How do you use communication effectively? Can you lead total strangers for a common goal?
