At 29-years-old, Elaine Welteroth became the youngest person and only the second African-American ever appointed editor-in-chief in Conde Nast’s history serving in the role for Teen Vogue. When the publication decided to cease print operations in December 2018, Welteroth decided it was time to pursue a new career path. She currently stars as a judge on Project Runway alongside Karlie Kloss and Christian Siriano, and recently published “More Than Enough: Claiming Space for Who You Are (No Matter What They Say),” a part-manifesto, part-memoir on what it means to come into your own.
