#32 Why do hard things, hard times come into our life?
Apr 6 2024
#32 Why do hard things, hard times come into our life?
On today's episode Crystal helps us understand why hard things or hard times come into our life. We first talk about the ways we handle those times. She gives us 5 different reasons/possibilities we are facing those hard times or hard things that come into our life.  First, We are in a spiritual battle. Second, God allows that hard thing to come in our life. We see this in Job's life. Third,  By our own doing, by own choices, Jonah is a perfect example. Fourth, We reap what others sowed. As children we reap what our parents sowed. Fifth, Life is just so darn hard. In this life we will have troubles. The next time something hard comes into your life or if you find yourself in a hard situation right now.  Ask God to reveal to you. ·       God why has this hard thing, or hard time come into my life? ·       God which of these 5 reasons is it? Is it any of these reasons at all?  ·       Write down what God reveals to you in your journal.·       Pray over what God reveals to you.    God loves us in our running days, and in our not so running days too. ·       This too shall pass, & brighter days are ahead.·       No Thing is too hard for God.And don't just listen—run on over and join the No More Running email list info@crystalloyd.com and share a five-star podcast review.Join the newly added No More Running Private Facebook group. Would you like to do some one-one Coaching with Crystal, email her at info@crystalloyd.com and connect with her on No More Running Facebook and Instagram https://www.instagram.com/crystalloyd2/#Music By:Music from #Uppbeat (free for Creators!):https://uppbeat.io/t/ben-johnson/the-closer-we-feelLicense code: HA7PD16JS2TQHPKASupport the show

#25 A Year of Aligning with God's Blueprint, right down to the smallest of details.
I have some plans for 2024, goals, new year’s resolutions, whatever you want to call them. Have you made any plans for 2024? I have been guilty of leaving God out completely. Making my own plans then asking God to get on board with them and to bless and show his favor on them, my plans, not God's plan. Before going into more of 2024, Stop and Ask God what is his details for your life, work, marriage, family, podcast, business ect.... What are the plans that you want to share with me? And when you share those with me, I pray I walk (not run) those out down to the very smallest of details. God give me wisdom and disciple to make those plans so.  God gave Noah the details on how to build the Ark "This is how you are to build it" Gen. 6:15 Crystal gives you 3 reasons why God gave Noah the details on how to build the Ark. Gen. 6:8&9 Crystal gives us a prayer to pray for our 2024 and if you would like that prayer email her at info@crystalloyd.com and she will send that right over. And don't just listen—run on over and join the No More Running email list and share a five-star podcast review.Join the newly added No More Running Facebook group. Would you like to do some one-one Coaching with Crystal, email her at info@crystalloyd.com and connect with her on No More Running Facebook and Instagram @crystalloyd2Music from:Music from #Uppbeat (free for Creators!):https://uppbeat.io/t/ben-johnson/the-closer-we-feelLicense code: C3PZTADJYYMWOB9DSupport the show

#22 Pain: Catalyst for Change and Growth

#22 Pain: Catalyst for Change and Growth
In today's episode, we're talking about pain – the physical suffering and discomfort we experience in life. When we feel pain, we often want to run away, especially if it comes from an abusive relationship. In such cases, it's important to seek help and get out.Sometimes, pain can make us withdraw from God, our loved ones, and even positive experiences. It causes us to protect ourselves. We may wish to avoid pain altogether, but it's a part of life. Instead of praying for it to go away, we can pray for strength to endure it and take steps towards healing. Even in our pain and hurt, God is at work. We may have experienced pain without feeling His presence, but we want to grow stronger in faith and have Him with us through tough times.    Sometimes, pain results from our own choices, like Jonah in the Bible. It can be a wake-up call for positive changes in our lives.Pain can also be a good thing. It prompts us to take action and make necessary changes. Being grateful for the lessons we learn through pain can lead to personal growth and stronger relationships.Ultimately, pain can lead to heart changes, better health, career improvements, a more positive mindset, and stronger family bonds. Embracing pain as a path to growth helps us navigate life's challenges with thankfulness.God promises in Exodus 3:17, Friends if you will quit running, I will help you and bring you to a land flowing with milk and honey. And don't just listen—run on over and join the No More Running email list and share your thoughts with a podcast review.Join the newly added No More Running Facebook group. Would you like to do some one-one Coaching with Crystal? #18 Fight for what God wants in your life.
Aug 19 2023
#18 Fight for what God wants in your life.
Are you fighting for your dreams, what you really want or what God wants for your life or are you still trying to tie your running shoes? This episode encourages you to fight for what God wants in your life, fight for what you want in your life-No More Running-from it, because well it’s just too darn hard or out of your reach or in your mind it’s not possible or it’s not possible in someone’s reach because you don’t have their permission for it.Crystal gives you three steps to help you fight for it.  1st step: Ask- start with Asking God, “God what is it that you want me to do in this life?” We can go to God; God’s word tells us that we can approach God with freedom and confidence. 2nd step: Ask-yourself what you really want. Decide what is it that you really want. Make a list before God then ask God which of these do you want me to do? Baby steps to get there. Know this, believe this, other women are watching you, if she can do it then I too can do it.  Work hard each day to get it.  3rd step: Are you done running from what you want, from what God wants for your life? We must surrender in our life before we can fight for what we want and what God wants for our life. We must get to this point of surrender to God, God's will and God's purpose for our life. Seek: Seek first his kingdom, Matt. 6:33. Seek-attempt or desire to obtain or achieve (something) Ask yourself what you want. You have not because you ask not. Ask God to place his desires in your life and help you fulfill those desires. Decide what it is that you want, that you really want. Then take those baby steps to get it done sister.I pray your efforts will be fruitful. Go, Fight, Win!!! #15 No Longer Running: Embracing God's Plan

#15 No Longer Running: Embracing God's Plan
I wanted to share an interview that I did on the Weeds, Seeds, & Beautiful Things podcast. It's my story, the in's and the out's.  It's messy, it's ugly, it's my running story. How far would you go to escape the hard truths and challenges in your life? Well, I ran all the way from God and the good things in life, hiding behind a lifestyle of partying and drinking, and in the process neglecting the divine call I was receiving. It's time we had a frank discussion about our tendencies to avoid confronting the realities of life, and in this episode, I do just that with my dear friend, Connie, from Weed Seeds and Beautiful Things. We talk about my journey of self-discovery and acceptance, and the transformation that took place after I stopped running from God's call. The story of how I found a different path with the help of a small church and a loving youth pastor is one that I hold close to my heart. My past experiences, however painful, had helped shape my calling, and it was time to face it head-on. Join us as we navigate through my trials and tribulations, taking a closer look at the importance of understanding and accepting God's plan for us, regardless of our circumstances. In this deeply personal narrative, we also explore my calling to help women going through similar experiences. Despite my initial reluctance, I realized that my hardships had a purpose: to guide women towards overcoming their abuse and finding their purpose in life. This is a testament to the fact that, regardless of what we go through, God has a plan for us, and it is always good. So let's take off our running shoes and embrace His calling, trusting in the bigger picture He has painted for us. No more running, let's face life, and its challenges, head-on.If you are interested in the Weeds Seeds & Beautiful Things you can follow them on Instagram and you can connect with the host, Constance (Connie) Lawson at www.weedsseedsbeautifulthings.com Would you like to do some one-on-one coaching with Crystal? #14 Breaking Barriers with Faith: The Unnamed Woman's Story
Ever felt stuck in a cycle of disappointment, hurt, and struggle? This episode will have you finding companionship in the story of an anonymous woman, who, for twelve agonizing years, wrestled with an incurable illness. As we navigate the paths of her journey through scripture in Luke 8:42-48 and Mark 5:21-24, we will connect with her pain, her persistence, and ultimately, her unwavering faith in the healing power of Jesus. Known only by her illness, this woman's determination led her to Jesus, cutting through societal norms and legalities. Can you imagine the desperation that fueled her strength? Let's venture together through her story as we discuss the importance of bringing our own struggles to Jesus, allowing Him a chance to intervene in our lives. We'll contemplate why Jesus chose to reveal her healing publicly, turning a personal victory into a public testimony. Finally, we'll draw inspiration from her courage and unyielding faith, using her story as a beacon of hope in our own lives. Recognizing that our faith, regardless of its size, can be potent enough to spark healing, just like the woman who was brave enough to reach out to Jesus. Embark on this journey of faith and healing with us. Don't forget to subscribe to our email list and leave a review for our podcast. Let's stop running and start healing, together.Would you like to do some one-on-one coaching with Crystal? #13 Sandra Jones
On today's episode our guest is Sandra Jones from Commerce, Texas. Sandra is the owner operator of J Designs in Brashear, Texas. Sandra and I met through our friend Jackie Hayden. Sandra is a busy women, she is involved in so many ministries; jail ministry, prison ministry, street ministry, speaking events sharing her story of sexual abuse, failed marriages and wanted her life to be over. She could relate to the women who was abused, who have commented adulty, who drank alcohol, lying, thieving this is the woman that Sandra was in her past. She found herself pregnant at the age of 16 and by 32 years of age she had been through 3 failed marriages she had put herself in a self-inflicted prison and thought she couldn't do this life anymore then she found herself with a gun in her hand, screaming out and this is where God found her. God told her I can heal you. She then had to start the process of forgiveness and being honest with her children and sharing her past with her husband. God told Sandra; I have much plan for you. God had to break her to be able to pick her back up. She no longer carries the titles of abused, adulty, thieving, liar. God has given her new titles; a daughter, sister, mother, wife, minister, grandmother, founder of a ministry, a daughter of the most high God. She is now 65 years old, and God is opening doors of opportunity to share her story. She encourages all women to open their hearts and let God break those chains in their life. She loves the verse 2 Cor. 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come. The old has gone, the new is here! If you are interested in Sandra coming to your ladies event you can contact her at www.sandrajonesspeaks.com The Inspiration for Your Event Words of Encouragement and Motivation.
