Does Spiritual Warfare still happen? What is it? How do I combat it? The Bible is very clear on the subject!

Does Spiritual Warfare still happen? What is it? How do I combat it? The Bible is very clear on the subject!
On today's episode, we're deep diving into Spiritual Warfare: what is it, how do you combat it, does it still happen today? So many questions, but the Bible has so many answers. People often like to grace over spiritual warfare as a subject, the principalities, the spiritual realms, but it's absolutely a reality. We are either active or passive participants in it. There's really no in between. So we go into what the Bible tells us about it, how to prepare ourselves, and what my story with spiritual warfare is. Guaranteed, you have one yourself, and maybe this episode will cause you to see that that's what it was (or is). I want to equip you, prepare you for battle, but fear not because you don't go into this alone. You go with God. So we put on the armor of God every day (Ephesians 6: 10-17) and we expose the lies and replace them with God's truth. Believe me when I say, this is an episode you don't want to miss. If you're struggling in your faith. If you're in a valley right now. If you find yourself weary and tired. If you feel like you're in a season of loss after loss. I'm here to encourage you to persevere but also to fight the good fight. You can do this. Give it a listen and if you have any questions/comments/concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out. I'd love to connect over on Instagram or TikTok and would love to hear your thoughts or experiences on spiritual warfare. God bless

Ep 8: A Girl & Joy vs. Worldly Happiness
In this episode of the podcast, we’re going to dive into the topic of joy vs. worldly happiness. We know that God's joy looks to the eternal, endures through hardships, and comes unconditionally. In this episode, you'll learn all about what Biblical joy looks like and how we are given this gift, from God, as we follow Christ. That's not to say that our Christian walk won't have trials & suffering, but we are to have joy in the midst of them because our suffering brings us closer to Christ. A few things you can expect: Biblical references throughout  A description of biblical joy A brief look at worldly happiness The attributes of biblical joy and much more! I pray that you'll give it a listen and be open to what the Holy Spirit may be trying to tell you through it.  Whether you're a new Christ-follower or you're not really sure about this whole thing, I think you'll learn something new today. EP 7: A Girl & Cultural Christianity vs. Biblical Christianity
Hi, and welcome to the A Girl and the Word podcast! In this episode of the podcast, we’re going to dive into the topic of cultural vs. Biblical Christianity. Are you curious about the terms cultural Christian, Christian, moralistic therapeutic deism? Well great! We're going to dive into these and much more in this episode. I am speaking out about this topic because I have felt God convicting me on this subject as a whole lately, so I thought what better place to walk through it than on the podcast? A few things you can expect: This is still Biblically rooted and will showcase scripture throughout You will come out of this with a better understanding of what a cultural Christian looks like / where it derived from / identifying marks / etc. You will gain an understanding of what we're to prioritize as Christ-followers and how we can make the Kingdom of God our primary concern...and hopefully much more! I pray that you'll give it a listen and be open to what the Holy Spirit may be trying to tell you through it.  Whether you're a new Christ-follower or you're not really sure about this whole thing, I think you'll learn something new today. Ep 5: A Girl & Faith Pt. 2
Hi, and welcome to the A Girl and the Word podcast! I'm the host of this podcast, Kalee, a blogger, growth marketing manager, and now podcast producer, lover of all things coffee, house plants, and Jesus. We are diving into part two of a three-part series on Faith, and in this episode, we’re going to talk about the different stages of faith. If you missed episode one, check it out here, where we talk about the basics of what faith is and what faith isn't. Before we dive into the three stages of faith I'm going to cover, we will talk through obstacles to our faith that we may come up against so that you are prepared to recognize them and fight against them when necessary. You'll have to listen in for more, but we're going to dive into a few stories in the Bible that help illustrate these different levels of faith. I hope that you'll tune in and that God speaks to your heart. It's not me to convict you, but the Holy Spirit, so I pray that he does a work in your life and through this podcast that I could never do. I hope you're ready to stir up some faith today, and whether you're a new Christ-follower or you're not really sure about this whole thing, I think you'll learn something new today.  As always, If you like what you’re hearing and want to stick around, please subscribe and follow @agirlandthewordpodcast on Instagram to keep up to date! But, in the spirit of being unedited, messy, and just thankful for God's grace - I LEFT IT in there. I need Jesus to speak through this, so I'm refused to re-record it based on that slip-up, but I figured I should tell you!**
