Deirdre O'Keefe is here from www.burdy.ie to enlighten us about Parent's Leave, not to be confused with "Parental Leave".  Each parent can take 7 weeks off work up until your child is age (and in August, this will be extended to 9 weeks per parent) and receive a weekly payment from the Department of Social Protection
