Judgement Day | 09-29-22
On this Thursday edition of Bernie & Sid in the Morning, Sid reacts to the rare sports story headlining the day's news, that of Yankees superstar outfielder Aaron Judge tying the late Roger Maris' single-season home run record of 61. Judge accomplished the feat with still seven games remaining on the Yankees schedule, plenty of time to tack on one more long ball to break Maris' mark and gain sole possession of the single-season American League home run crown. In other news of the day, Hurricane Ian ran roughshod on basically the entire state of Florida yesterday and into the night. 155 MPH winds and massive flooding has completely taken over the peninsula that is the sunshine state. In their typical woke fashion, the Democrat liberals immediately resorted to climate change as the reason why Florida was experiencing such a storm, but Sid points out that Florida is known for the multiple hurricanes it has to endure every fall. To come out and cry about climate change while Floridians literally run for their lives is insensitive and simply does not make any logical sense. Short-sighted as always, much of the fake news reporting on the storm isn't even worth watching. Curtis Sliwa, Michael Ragusa, Lee Zeldin, Bill O'Reilly and Jeanine Pirro join the program, and as always make sure you don't miss out on Lidia Reports or another special "Beat Sid" edition of The Peerless Boilers Beat Bernie Contest. On this Tuesday edition of Bernie & Sid in the Morning, crime continues to rear its ugly head throughout our country's biggest cities. Sid, along with all Americans, are turning to the White House for answers. Not to our surprise but certainly to our displeasure, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre has no answers, either because she's ignorant or because she doesn't want to blatantly tell the American people what we already know, which is that the Biden Administration wants to watch our cities burn. It's obvious to anyone with working eyeballs that America's biggest cities are no longer safe to explore, but for some reason Karine Jean-Pierre can't bring herself to say as much. Don't you think the American people deserve to know if they are safe to walk around New York City, Philadelphia, or even Chicago? Even huge corporations like McDonald's are beginning to speak out regarding the matter, saying their own employees are no longer willing to work in these cities due to the constant unrest and chaos in the streets. Something needs to be done, and we've been saying that for a long time, but we fear that as long as Joseph R. Biden is in the White House, America's proudest cities will continue to fall deeper into the depths of despair and destruction. Karen Curtis, Paul King, Rob Astorino, Christopher "Mad Dog" Russo and Bill O'Reilly join the program, and as always make sure you don't miss out on Lidia Reports or another special "Beat Sid" edition of The Peerless Boilers Beat Bernie Contest.
