Once again, an unaware trucker had his tires destroyed while sleeping on an off ramp on Interstate 75 in Georgia. The Ice Pick Bandit has moved on from flattening tires to cutting brake lines. That's right, the bandit has gotten more brazen. He has now marked himself as "attempted murder'. After all, when you cut the brakes of a semi truck, you are risking death, so murder will be the correct charge once we catch this very brave, twisted individual. Electric Semi Makers Are Wacky. Recently a man on YouTube showed a video of a Tesla Semi Truck. He showed how the Tesla was beating diesel trucks up Donner Pass. Boy oh boy, the Tesla sure flew up that hill. I was amazed, for a short time. Then I remembered something. I had seen this before. I've seen this exact phenom before. Let me see, oh yeah, I remember driving an empty trailer up Sand Stone Mountain. I remember blowing by all the loaded down rigs. Yeah yeah, that's right. See this joker that ran the video, never mentioned how heavy the Tesla was verses the diesel rigs. I bet if we could have weighed them all, the Tesla might come up short. Trucker Still Missing After Rollover in West Virginia All week the news has been reporting on a missing trucker, theorizing about a truck driver that crashed his truck on a mountainous road in West Virginia. Since then, Carlos M. Bonifaciomunoz, 39, had been reported as, walking away from the scene of the accident before authorities were able to get there. His family member in New Jersey has received a call from him. Bonifaciomunoz still has not been found and may be hurt. If you have seen him, please contact the local authorities. Elderly Couple Killed In Rollover In Iowa The couple survived the crash but both passed away at the hospital for an unknown reason, the tractor and trailer, seemed to drift to the right of the road. When John Kilburg, tried to correct the rig, it went left too shop and rolled. Both he and his wife Donelle Kilburg, had to be extracted from the truck. They both died at the hospital. Prayers for their family.

Black Ice 5 Deadliest States. Have you driven on black ice? If you have then you know you should not be on the roads if black ice is present. Sometimes called "clear ice", black ice can fool the best drivers out there. It is the cause of many accidents including deaths every year. Black Ice is more common in the early morning hours. Is is found many times near large bodies of water. When driving on black ice, a driver has no control. The recommended speed for black ice is 10mph or less. Has FMCSA Really Made Roads Safer? Check out these stats. 1975 4305 deaths involving large trucks, 1976 4893, 1992 4422, 2002 4846, 2021 4714, so it does not appear to have changed much. With all the regulations, you would think the numbers would decline every year. The new regulation to hit the market are "speed limiters". It is unclear if and when this will start but it is heating up for debate. Many claim that it will make the roads unsafer.
