60. UNSOLVED: THE MURDER IN HOTEL ROOM 1046
Send us a textOn Jan. 3rd, 1935, a man calling himself Roland T. Owen checked into the Hotel President in Kansas City, Missouri. Carrying no luggage, he was described as being 20 to 35 years old, had brown hair, a scar on his scalp visible above the ear, and a case of cauliflower ear. He was nicely dressed in a black coat and received the room key for room 1046. He specifically asked for an interior room several floors up. He paid for one night. However, he would never check out. Two days later he would be found stabbed, tied up and bleeding to death in his room with little clue as to who or what had done these horrible acts. In a real life game of Clue, police would try to solve the case including an alias, possible organized crime, mysterious phone calls and letters.....all of which are still unsolved to this day.
