Amy won this Award in recognition of buying a summer business and developing it into a go to destination for healthy food options in the aftermath of extreme bushfires in the Victorian town of Mallacoota. Not satisfied with running a business and hiring a team of around 15 local under 25's she decided to also pursue an interest in disaster recovery nursing by enrolling in a Bachelor of Nursing Degree. Amy chats openly about how following a passion is like not working at all (even though you really are) and how entering the Awards program has opened many doorways for future success.
