This series of podcasts is recorded from the Scottish Photobiology Service (SPS) in Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, and looks into light sensitivity skin conditions (also known as photosensitivity or sun allergy), which are a range of conditions involving various symptoms which are caused or aggravated by exposure to sunlight.
There are seven episodes in total and each episode includes an in-depth discussion with Mr Rodney Mountain, Prof Sally Ibbotson and a patient from the SPS, who is diagnosed with one of these conditions.
The conditions covered in this series are: Chronic Actinic Dermatitis; Solar Urticaria; Polymorphic Light Eruption; Photoaggravated Seborrhoeic Dermatitis and Erythropoietic Protoporphyria.
