Katrina Braun and Aaron Blanton are the creators of What Happened in Skinner. They describe the project as an Alternate Reality Game (ARG). Their multiplatform endeavor also includes YouTube videos, websites, subreddits, and Discord forums. Katrina and Aaron worked together on the horror shorts Mortuary and Skinner 1929. Aaron's anti-rape video, A Needed Response, won a Peabody Award in 2013.
