You are not special, the rules apply to you. If they aren't trying, then they are just not that into you. Also, can we talk about how ridiculously accessible people are now? It makes everyone a target for poor behavior.

How did we forget how conversations work? If you initiate, then you talk and then I'll follow. It's a pretty simple formula.

Why does everyone love to believe people want to be picked on?

How do you expect to be treated like gold when you're treating her like brass? Do you not understand the concept that women will love they way they are loved? If you feel like she is worthless, then what is the point?

Come take a ride with me and my child while we talk about the world. There is a little road noise from the drive so sorry about that.

How does it make sense to hide who you really are from someone until it's too late? Honesty is the best policy. There will always be someone for everyone. Informed consent counts for choosing friends and partners too.

Stop assuming everyone thinks like you.

When does it happen? When do we wake up with body image issues? Are they caused by beauty standards? Are the caused by our bodies changing in way we weren't ready for? Does everyone realize that body image issues are just for girls? Why do some people have issues with their body's appearance and others don't? I'm going to tell you my story as it pertains to the current state of racism in hopes that it helps someone. I felt like something needed to be said and this is the only way I know how to say it. I hope it hits home for someone out there so they can be released from their internal struggle. Please listen.

We need to be better communicators. It's a skill not many seem to have anymore despite the many ways we have available to communicate. This is my opinion. Please take the time to listen to one another and stop making assumptions. Hear people. Ask questions. Stop being scared.
