Our host Tanner Hoskins, Executive Director of the Pacific Northwest Missing Persons Project and Co-founder of Pacific Northwest Bigfoot Search, shares the mysterious true stories of adults and children who inexplicably disappeared while recreating in the great outdoors of Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Montana.

Tanner will also share stories from our organization's expeditions to the last known location from these missing persons cases in search of clues and personal belongings in hopes of finding answers and bringing closure to their grieving families.

Why Do We Exist?

Search and Rescue organizations and law enforcement agencies often lack the funding and personnel required to continue searching for lost or missing individuals after the initial efforts end. These organizations must prioritize their resources for immediate life-saving missions, leaving them unable to extend searches beyond their initial efforts. This is where PNWMPP steps in. We provide the support and resources necessary to continue these critical searches, attempting to bring closure to friends and family who are left to grieve while not knowing where their loved-one is.

The Sammy Boehlke and Derrick Engebretson case (Oregon)

The Sammy Boehlke and Derrick Engebretson case (Oregon)
Send us a Text Message.Crater Lake National Park in the State of Oregon, is shrouded in mystery.Known by the indigenous peoples of the area as a sort of no-man's land, where large bipedal "devils" and "stick Indians" roamed and kidnapped people. Often times hurling them into the crater filled with water below.   This weeks episode will cover two cases that occurred less than 30 miles from each other, with only eight years between their disappearances. Derrick Engebretson vanished in 1998, 30 miles south of Crater Lake National Park in the Winema National Forest. Sammy Boehlke vanished in 2006 from the famous North Rim Drive of Crater Lake National Park in central Oregon. Both of these disappearances have confused law enforcement, search and rescue teams, and independent searchers for the past decade and a half. Please keep the Boehlke and Engebretson family in your thoughts, and once again, if you find yourself hiking the back country near where these two cases occurred please remain vigilant for anything that may bring answers or closure to these grieving families. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Links to their cases on NAMUS:Sammy Boehlke https://www.namus.gov/MissingPersons/Case#/5862Last seen wearing:- A blue winter coat.- A long sleeved black and green stripped shirt.- Cargo pants.- Red sued slip on shoes.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Derrick Engebretsonhttps://www.namus.gov/MissingPersons/Case#/6037Last seen wearing:- Denim jacket size 12-14- Rt 66 pants navy blue- Oakland A's t-shirt- Black sweatshirt- Camo boots- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Have tips?
