Freya's Fairy Tales

Freya Victoria

Join Freya Victoria for Freya's Fairy Tales, where we believe fairy tales are both stories we enjoyed as children, and something that we can achieve ourselves. Each week we will talk to authors about their favorite fairy tales when they were kids, when they knew they wanted to write, how they come up with their stories, and their adventures into holding their very own fairy tale in their hands. At the end of each episode, we will feature a fairy tale that is either a favorite of the author, or closely resembles their favorite movies, stories, and legends as a kid. Freya Victoria, The Forgotten Beast, and Beauty and the Beast
Today is part two of two where I am being interviewed by Charlotte Glass about my books. After today you will have heard about how I got started writing, my journey through narrating and back to writing, how I collaborate with my beta readers, building a community, the things I had to Google for research for my book, who I’d cast in the HBO series of my series, and so much more.Get The Forgotten Beast BookGet The Forgotten Beast AudiobookFreya's Website - Freya's Facebook Page - Freya's Instagram - Freya's TikTok - Freya's YouTube - Freya's XFreya Victoria is a Texas native that has always wanted to write her own books and has spent countless hours attempting to write, reading books from every genre, and has been reading aloud, with all the character voices, since she was a kid. While she did not start narrating professionally until Fall 2021, she has been reading books aloud since she was a kid and always wanted to find some way to put the countless hours spent reading the books that she loved into a side gig that would grow her imagination and love for stories. Freya is passionate about all genres but has found a special love for narrating fantasy.Growing up, Freya always struggled to come up with a storyline that she could develop into a full novel but, in early 2022 she finally found an idea that stuck and got about 30,000 words in before The Forgotten Beast, her debut novel took over her brain. In April 2022, Freya launched her podcast Freya’s Fairy Tales where she talks to authors about their favorite fairy tales as kids, their journey to writing their novels, and the excitement of holding their very own fairy tale in their hands. You can find her every day in the recording booth, working on someone’s audiobook, working on more podcast episodes, or sitting on the couch reading and writing. She resides in Texas with her husband and daughter and hopes to one day move into the country where she can not have to edit out the sound of her neighbors mowing their lawn or the trash truck as it drives by!Check us out on our website or Support us on PatreonFollow Our Show On...

Enni Amanda, My Lucky Star, and A Study in Scarlet
Today is part two of two where we are talking to Enni Amanda about her novels. After today you will have heard about teaching herself to read, writing from an early age, taking a long break from writing while learning other arts, knowing that you always consider learning to improve, accidentally publishing your first book, joining critique groups before being ready, going wide from the beginning, writing what you love, the marketing struggle, finding the books that you love, taking into account your personal strengths when listening to advice.Get My Lucky StarEnni's Website - Enni's Facebook Page - Enni's Facebook Group - Enni's Instagram - Enni's TikTok - Enni's XEnni Amanda is a graphic designer moonlighting as a rom-com author, or maybe it's the other way around. In 2006, she and her husband moved from Finland to New Zealand and fell in love with the gorgeous islands and their laid-back people. They spent eight years traveling between the two rather inconveniently located countries, studying filmmaking and running a film festival. Through all the filmmaking, Enni discovered a passion for screenwriting, which eventually led to writing books (a slippery slope). Her heart-warming, funny stories explore real-life issues like identity, found family, and the housing crisis. These days, she lives in the Waikato, close to the rolling hills of the Shire, raising two cute, rambunctious boys while writing away and ignoring housework.Check us out on our website or Support us on PatreonFollow Our Show On Socials: Facebook - Instagram - Twitter - TikTokFollow Our Host Freya: Facebook - Instagram - Twitter - TikTokWant Freya to Narrate Your Audiobook? Eventually, I started my own catering company and even worked as a Certified Dietary Manager in a healthcare facility. In 2015, I married the love of my life, M.Following the birth of our youngest child, L, I made the decision to retire from my career in the culinary industry and become a stay-at-home mother to L and my bonus daughter, K. We all reside on our little farm in North Carolina where we enjoy raising chickens, cultivating our gardens, and spending time with our beloved Maremma Sheep Dog, Ronan, and tuxedo tabby, Ziggy.Writing has always been a passion of mine, dating back to my childhood in Pennsylvania, when I would write short stories for my family and friends. That all changed when I began daydreaming about a high fantasy story that morphed into the Bellham Series. With the encouragement of a best friend, H.E.G, I decided to pursue the series and turn my crazy daydream into a reality. I am grateful for the unwavering support of my family and friends.
