First Date with Lauren Compton brings podcast listeners through a first date in a fun way. Lauren interviews a guest on each episode in the style of a first date. Every guest is a comedian, actor, or other celebrity. The show follows the format of a dinner date, starting with “get to know you” questions. Lauren asks some appetizer questions and then gets more personal with her guests. Her comedian friends give unexpected, hilarious responses. At the end of the episode, Lauren gives her evaluation of the “date.”

Lauren is a comedian and actress herself. In addition to performing standup comedy, she has several film credits. She has won the Cannes Film Festival and created comedy sketches for Funny or Die. On First Date, Lauren brings her magnetic personality to the dating game. Listeners hear comedians detail their funniest dating experiences.

Guests on the show include fellow standup comedians Tom Segura and Ron White. Tom’s signature emotionless delivery makes his responses all the funnier. He was the show’s first guest and hosts several podcasts, including the flagship Your Mom’s House. Ron is a comic known for his standup sets with the Blue Collar Comedy Tour. On the podcast, he shares his thoughts on the most important things in a relationship.

The podcast welcomes men and women to join Lauren for a date. Comedians Whitney Cummings and Nikki Howard have been guests as well. Whitney gives her hilarious opinions on sex and love. Nikki is a model, and she and Lauren discuss chain restaurants and awful tattoos. Whoever the guest is, listeners can expect a remarkable interview.
