Marlies and Indigo have both experienced this. The medical profession can use frightening terminology. Marlies ~ during birth I was rushed. Marlies ~ speaking to the women trying to conceive and waiting. ~ World Share:  Australia has the highest rate of induction. Domino effect of interventions, medicalisation of birth. Manufacturability ~ want to control everything big fear over loss of control (that we don’t actually have), want to control our when, how we get pregnant, what gender/how many children, what our birth will look like (birth wishes [plans] - how I want to ‘look’ as how I want it to feel) and we lose the ability to birth naturally.
