Within a short period of time, Kendyl went from being Miss Utah USA to a mother of a severely special needs child. Her life did a 180 from her being in the spotlight onstage to focusing all of her energy to help her child function 24 hours a day. The transition was huge. In the middle of changing routines and ultimately her lifestyle caring for her child, Kendyl found joy and meaning through her transitions.
