Afrika in Focus special: 30 Years after Mandela becoming president is South Afrika free or still under Aparthied
This week's edition of Afrika in Focus looks at 30 years of so called democracy in  South Afrika.  30 Years ago this week Nelson Mandela became the first democratically elected president of South Afrika. We state that the system of apartheid never ended with the election of Nelson Mandela and the ANC (African National Congress) government. We start by advising the public that the system of apartheid ushered in by the Dutch Europeans was a very systemically, calculated plan to subjugate and relegate the African to subservient status in their own country. We detail how this system of apartheid led to the struggle to end apartheid by activists like Nelson Mandela and Steve Biko.We advise the listenership that it was the collective efforts of the global African family that forced the hand of the wicked apartheid regime under F W De Klerk to release Nelson Mandela and other senior members of the ANC from prison. We also highlight the white supremacist faction that tried to derail the so called negotiations to multi party democracy. We state how Mandela and the ANC allowed themselves to be manipulated by the likes of the 'Afrikaner' Brotherhood to drop key aspects of  the Freedom Charter that included the return of stolen land and the re distribution of  wealth. We end by stating that 30 years after the so called historic election and symbolism of Nelson Mandela becoming the first democratically elected president of South Afrika, South Afrika is still under a form of apartheid that is more pernicious than formalised apartheid, and that the ANC has failed the majority of Africans who put their trust in them in favour of safeguarding white/European interests.Sources:Nigeria’s Role in Ending Apartheid in South Afrika – Msingi Afrika MagazineAfrikaner Broederbond - WikipediaRevealed: how Israel offered to sell South Africa nuclear weapons | Israel | The Guardian(1) How Nelson Mandela Sold B!ack people Out !! - YouTube(1) The Betrayal of Black South Africans by Nelson Mandela: Exposing the Truth - YouTubeSupport the showDonate/Support the show: https://www.buzzsprout.com/1793098/supportWe offer a consultation session for those who wish to relocate to Ghana , do business in Ghana , buy land, buying a property or even starting business in Ghana. Afrika in Focus Special: 30 years on from the Rwandan Genocide, Kagame - Saint or Sinner

Afrika in Focus Special: 30 years on from the Rwandan Genocide, Kagame - Saint or Sinner
This week's edition of Afrika in Focus looks at Rwanda 30 years on from the genocide that resulted in the loss of over 1 million Afrikan lives.  The western media and political establishments present the narrative that Rwanda is an Afrikan economic 'miracle' and the leadership of Kagame is an example of progressive Afrikan leadership. The essence of this podcast is to challenge this western narrative by debunking this idea that somehow Kagame is a saint. We start by highlighting the historical legacy of colonialism and imperialism, including the murder of more than 10 million Afrikans by King Leopold II of Belgium that was at the root of the 1994 genocide. We advise that The Europeans had a big hand on the 1994 genocide as identified by the role the Catholic church had in it and also pose the question who supplied the arms to Rwanda and its mix of armed forces including Kagame's Rwanda Patriotic Front (RPF) that became victorious after the 1994 genocide and civil war. We then delve into the REAL governorship and leadership style of Kagame.  We point there IS NO democracy in the country and the opposition has been silenced by Kagame.  We state how some journalists who have criticised Kagame's style of leadership have either been jailed or silenced.   We end by stating that the genocide of 1994 was a collective Afrikan failure and that Kagame has used his backing from the West to enrich himself, family and close allies at the expense of the majority of the people of Rwanda.Sources:Leopold II: Belgium 'wakes up' to its bloody colonial past - BBC NewsThe Role of the Catholic Church in the 1994 Genocide in Rwanda (researchgate.net)Proof Kagame used pensions to fund his businesses Who will save the Rwandan pension money from RPF’s Crystal Ventures Ltd? | TherwandanThe Rwandan Patriotic Front’s business empire (economist.com)Rwanda gives DR Congo back tonnes of smuggled minerals - BBC NewsDRC says Rwandan mineral smuggling costs it almost $1bn a year (ft.com)I criticised Rwanda’s leader – now I wake up screaming after constant online attacks | Michela Wrong | The GuaSupport the showDonate/Support the show: https://www.buzzsprout.com/1793098/supportWe offer a consultation session for those who wish to relocate to Ghana , do business in Ghana , buy land, buying a property or even starting business in Ghana. Afrika in Focus Special: Dye-ing to look good - The Hair care and beauty industry Part I
This week's edition of Afrika in Focus examines the effects of the hair care industry on Afrikan (Black) women. We start by analysing why Afrikan women globally spend huge amounts of money trying to look like European women. We then go into depth using history and mind control techniques how Afrikan women were programmed to hate their nappy, kinky, woolly hair and use all sorts of methods to straighten it.We highlight some of the devastating chemicals that Afrikan women are putting into their heads and some of damaging health consequences of this.We also look at the issue of weaves/ wigs and expose that these are in the main made from the hair of Hindu Indian women who have gone through  certain religious / spiritual sacrifices and rituals. We also look at the economic and spiritual consequences of wearing hair that belongs to another group of people .Finally we advise that Afrikan women must NOW WAKE UP and understand that their pursuit of European standards of beauty is having a devastating impact on their health, spirituality and  is economically enriching others and impoverishing their own communities. As our ancestors in Ancient Kemet (Egypt) entreated the Afrikan female with the saying: Woman know thyself!!Sources:🇮🇳 Hair India | Witness (youtube.com)Is Weave From India Cursed? Ghana in Focus special: Why The LGBTQ agenda is anti Ghanaian Family values
This week's edition of Ghana in Focus ends our heritage month series looking at aspects of Ghanaian life. This week we analyse why the LGBTQ agenda is anti Ghanaian family values. This is in light of the anti LGBTQ bill unanimously passed in the Ghanaian parliament that is now awaiting the President of the Republic of Ghana to ascend the bill into law.We explain the essence of traditional Ghanaian family values, its importance and significance in the Afrikan spiritual realm. We explain how in recent years Ghanaian family values has been undermined by the subtle promotion of the LGBTQ+  agenda in Ghana by western backed agencies. We advise how and why the LGBTQ+ agenda is a threat to not only traditional Ghanaian family values but to the very existence of  the country itself. We also strongly condemn threats made by the West in particular the United States to withhold 'aid and development' money to Ghana should the President sign the bill into law.We advise that the United States has no right to lecture Ghanaians on human rights when the United States violates daily, the human rights of African Americans as in the George Floyd murder.Secondly we Africans do not thrust on western societies the idea of polygamy as it is prohibited in the West so in turn the West MUST respect our desire as Ghanaians to uphold our traditional family values. We assert that those who support the LGBTQ+ agenda are anti Ghanaian family values. We end by stating that Ghana is a sovereign state that has the right to do what is in its own interest without interference from others and urge the president to undertake his constitutional right and sign the bill into law.Sources:The HISTORIC TRUTH Sam George Anti LGBTQ Bill Ghana Parliament and Akufo Addo Ties (youtube.com)American Companies Can Leave|| Ghana Lawmaker Sam George Says American Companies That Support LGBTQ - YouTubeGhanaian MP Sam George boldly schools the West on LGBT and family values at UN Summit (youtube.com)Support the showDonate/Support the show: https://www.buzzsprout.com/1793098/supportWe offer a consultation session for those who wish to relocate to Ghana , do business in Ghana , buy land, buying a property or even starting business in Ghana. Ghana in Focus Special: Political independence is useless without Economic independence: Who really owns Ghana?

Ghana in Focus Special: Political independence is useless without Economic independence: Who really owns Ghana?
This week's episode of Ghana in Focus asks a pertinent question, who really owns Ghana. This is in light of Ghana celebrating its 67th year of so called independence on 6th March 1957.The question of who really owns Ghana is a cogent one given the assertion that political independence is meaningless without economic independence.Given this we analyse 5 key sectors of the Ghanaian economy.  These sectors are Banking, Gas/Oil, Telecommunications, Mining and Retail. We give a critical analysis on each sector and conclude that these key sectors of the Ghanaian economy ARE NOT in the complete control of Ghanaians.  This means that if Ghana does not control the key sectors of its economy  Ghana is essentially economically dependent on others for its survival and to buttress the point it is stated that up to 60%b of Ghana 's budget is made up of donor sources. So 67 years after so called independence Ghana has yet to achieve economic independence and a generation of leaders has failed Ghana in this instance. The task now especially for a new generation of forward thinkers and innovators is to transform the economy of Ghana where Ghana can become truly economically independent where  it is able to make decisions that are independent of external influence that can truly transform the lives of its citizens.Sponsor a Ghanaian farmer: Grow For Me | Now everyone can farm and trade!   Support the showDonate/Support the show: https://www.buzzsprout.com/1793098/supportWe offer a consultation session for those who wish to relocate to Ghana , do business in Ghana , buy land, buying a property or even starting business in Ghana. Ghana in Focus special: State of the Nation Address - A president out of touch with reality??
This week's edition of Ghana in Focus highlights the president of Ghana's State Of the Nation Address (SONA) and stress this is a president who is seriously out of  touch with reality. We go into numerous topics that the president mentioned or did not mention and give our take on these topics.Health - we explain that the state run clinics/ hospitals leave a lot to be desired as they lack basic services and facilities to help with the delivery of health care in Ghana . We advise that the president did not address this and also the brain drain of Ghanaian health professionals to greener pastures.  We also state the flaws of the so called National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS).Education - we explain the flaws of the government's flagship so called free SHS programme  and the president's failure to address its shortcomings.  We also bemoan the president's failure to address the quality of education in Ghana along with the teacher shortage.Unemployment - We criticize why the president omitted the thorny issue of unemployment in Ghana.  Latest statistics indicate that 1 in 3 youth and 1 in 5 Ghanaians generally are unemployed.  The president's failure to mention the unemployment crises in Ghana and some of its consequences is wholly unacceptable.Housing -  Again another key area the president omitted from his address - We state there is a housing deficit of more than 4 million units and that the ordinary Ghanaian cannot afford to buy a home.  So its unacceptable that the president did not even mention a strategy to build affordable homes in Ghana to address the housing crises,Economy  - We touch on the vexed issue of the economy.  we advise the economy is in dire straits as witnessed by the country s involvement in a 3 year IMF bailout programme.    We also point out that the president did not mention the consequences of the Domestic Debt Exchange Programme (DDEP) and the external debt Ghana owes countries like China.    Again for the president to skirt around this and imply that Ghana is on the road to economic recovery is somewhat disingenuous. We also touch upon issues like illegal mining, corruption and the debt to GDP ratio that the President failed to mention. In closing the president's State of the Nation Address was very disappointing as it failed to deal with the realities on the ground , the harsh challenges Ghanaians are facing and shows this is a president who is out of touch with reality.Sponsor a Ghanaian farmer: Grow For Me | Now everyone can farm and trade!Support the showDonate/Support the show: https://www.buzzsprout.com/1793098/supportWe offer a consultation session for those who wish to relocate to Ghana , do business in Ghana , buy land, buying a property or even starting business in Ghana. Afrika in Focus - Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Review. The best AFCON EVER!!

Afrika in Focus - Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Review. The best AFCON EVER!!
This week's edition of Afrika in Focus reviews the just ended Afrikan Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Ivory Coast.By all accounts the football fiesta that was AFCON was a great success with more than 2 Billion people watching the event in more than 170 countries.  Added to this most of the stadia hosting the matches were sold out culminating in the final being sold out to a full capacity of 60,000 people in the Allasanne Quatarra Stadia in the capital Abidjan  to see the hosts Ivory Coast come from behind to beat Nigeria 2-1 to be crowned Kings of Afrika. We start by stating how well organized the event was and was a showpiece for not only Afrikan football but also demonstrating the ability of an Afrikan nation to stage a global continental event. We state that Afrikan football has come of age with the so called smaller teams going boot to boot with the so called bigger teams. Powerhouses Ghana, Egypt, Cameroon and Algeria ALL had early exits whilst hot favourites Morocco and Senegal failed to make the quarter finals.  Lesser teams like Equatorial Guinea, Cape Verde, South Africa, DR Congo and Mauritania surpassed expectations highlighting the fast improvement of the so called smaller teams. We explain how the refereeing, normally a bane in Afrikan football, was of the highest quality and that the VAR technology was used to great effect. From great goals to non stop action to the thrills and spills of the group stages, to late goals and to the fairy tale ending for the hosts, AFCON 23 was a tournament to savour and did the continent proud.  Sponsor a Ghanaian farmer: Grow For Me | Now everyone can farm and trade!Support the showDonate/Support the show: https://www.buzzsprout.com/1793098/supportWe offer a consultation session for those who wish to relocate to Ghana , do business in Ghana , buy land, buying a property or even starting business in Ghana. Afrika in Focus: Bob Marley Biopic One Love - A true representation?
This week's edition of Afrika in Focus analyses the Biopic of Bob Marley, ONE LOVE.We explain the rationale for the movie and stress that certain factors like the marketability of the film and the type of message the producers / directors of the film wanted to portray were all considerations before the release of the film. The portrayal of Marley in the biopic will be a watered down version of what Bob Marley really stood for.We explain why the true image of Bob Marley was watered down to suit a commercial audience. We also state that Bob Marely was a man who was well in tune with his Afrikan heritage and his songs and political activism highlighted this and is something the film will not portray. We end by stating Hollywood NEVER gives a true reflection of great Afrikan historical figures and Bob Marley is no exception.  Hollywood will portray whatever image they want to portray to suit their agenda and capitalistic tendencies. We advise go and watch the biopic/ film but always have your third eye at hand and understand that what you are watching is only part of the story.  Sponsor a Ghanaian farmer: Grow For Me | Now everyone can farm and trade! Ghana in Focus Special: Britain loaning stolen Asante crown jewels, a good thing or a slap in the face
This week's edition of Ghana in Focus looks at the outrageous decision by Britain to 'loan' to the Asante nation, stolen Asante crown jewels. We chronicle the history of how these precious crown jewels were stolen by the wicked British during the Asante-British wars of 1800-1904 where the main aim of the British was to steal the Asante Golden stool and subjugate the Asante. We state how these Royal Asante crown jewels and other artefacts looted by these British criminals found their way to the British 'museum' and the Victoria and Albert 'museum' both in London. It is also important to note that these artefacts are not just artefacts but are artefacts that have deep spiritual, cultural and traditional meaning for the Asante people, the Asante nation and the Asantehene (The Asante King). We also state how the British created laws that essentially justifies their stealing of another's property to the extent that they now become the 'owners' of stolen property. We end by stating this 'loan' agreement is an insult to the Asantehene, The Asante Nation, The Asante people and the people of Ghana and demand that Britain has a moral, ethical and spiritual obligation to return stolen property back to its rightful owner.  Sponsor a Ghanaian farmer: Grow For Me | Now everyone can farm and trade!Sources:Asante Gold: UK to loan back Ghana's looted 'crown jewels' - BBC News'Crown jewels' looted by British soldiers returned to Ghana on loan | BBC News (youtube.com) Support the showDonate/Support the show: https://www.buzzsprout.com/1793098/supportWe offer a consultation session for those who wish to relocate to Ghana , do business in Ghana , buy land, buying a property or even starting business in Ghana. Ghana in Focus Special: The Ghana Black Stars AFCON fiasco - Matters arising
Ghana crashed out of this year's Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) by failing to beat lowly Mozambique and therefore  failing to make the knockout stages of the AFCON for a second tournament in a row .They are many reasons why Ghana failed at AFCON 23 some of which include the Ghana Football Association (GFA) allowing the impressive Otto Addo to leave his post after the World Cup in Qatar as well as not having a well defined and strategic long term strategy to make Ghana Kings of Afrikan football again.Others include the lack of real depth and talent  in Ghana's squad compared to the Golden Generation  of Michael Essien,  Steven Appiah, Richard 'olele' Kingston, Sulley Muntari, Asamoah Gyan, Richard Mensah and Kevin Prince Boateng. Finally we discuss the way forward for the Black Stars which includes building a cohesive, strategic and disciplined team around key players like Mohammed Kudus and Semenyo in order for Ghana to re kindle past glories. Afrika in Focus: Australia Day, Why Australia is AN Apartheid state.
This week's edition of Afrika  in Focus highlights Australia as the country celebrates 'Australia day'.We first give an historical overview of Australia and state that Australia is a Afrikan/Black country. We highlight the original people of Australia, the 'Aboriginal' people have lived in Australia for more than 60,000 years. We  state how before the coming of the British/European, The Aboriginal people had a culture, tradition and a set of principles and guidelines under their Dreaming value system. We then chart the beginning of the destruction of the Aboriginal people when the first British and we have to call them terrorists land in Botany Bay in 1788.We state that how through a deliberate policy of genocide and extermination in an attempt to wipe out the Aboriginal people , a population of about 3 million before 1788 was reduced to about 500,000 in  1901 when Australia became the federated country it is today. We also state how The British had a deliberate policy of 'whitening' Australia by having an  open door immigration policy to allow Europeans / white  people to 'settle' in Australia. We then raise the stark inequalities and systemic oppression the Aboriginal people in Australia, their own country, suffer from.We end by stating that Australia IS AN Apartheid STATE!!Sources:Australia rejects proposal to recognise Aboriginal people in constitution | Australia news | The GuardianDeaths in Australia, Life expectancy - Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (aihw.gov.au)Explainer: the evidence for the Tasmanian genocide (theconversation.com)(8) Genocide and frontier violence in Australia | Thomas Rogers - Academia.eduSupport the showDonate/Support the show: https://www.buzzsprout.com/1793098/supportWe offer a consultation session for those who wish to relocate to Ghana , do business in Ghana , buy land, buying a property or even starting business in Ghana. Afrika in Focus: The Israeli - Hamas war , Why not an Afrikan issue.
This week's edition of Afrika in Focus analyses the war in the so called Middle East.We give an Afrikan perpective on this conflict and insist this is not an Afrikan concern. We begin by highlighting the FACT that those who are fighting in that area of land are NOT indigenous to the so called Middle East.We chronicle the history of the area and highlight the origin of the Israeli / Palestine conflict began with British rule in what was called Palestine and the issuance of the Balfour declaration. We then turn our focus to the disturbing notion of what seems like the global Afrikan community supporting  the Palestinian cause. We explain why this support is ill judged and ill informed highlighting the vile anti Afrikan racism in Palestine itself against Afrikan Palestinians. We also highlight the wider anti Afrikan racism in the so called Arab world and point out why Afrikans should not be blindly supporting Arabs given this history of anti Afrikan racism. We end by stating the Afrikan concern should be for the wider global Afrikan community such as police brutality against Afrikans in the United States and Brazil, communal violence in Jamaica and the big one being the slaughter and genocide taken place in DR Congo.Sponsor a Ghanaian farmer: Grow For Me | Now everyone can farm and trade!
