72// Dr Amy Bishop// Part 2
Two new episodes on a Tuesday! In Episodes 71+72, we are going to cover the incident that happened on February 12, 2010 at the University of Alabama in Huntsville It was on that day that 13 members of the Biology Department gathered around a table for their routine faculty meeting. And for the next hour, they discussed plans for the upcoming semester. One of the members in attendance was Dr. Amy Bishop, who had just been told that she would no longer be a professor at the university after that current semester ended. Throughout the meeting, the doctor, who usually had a lot to say, sat there quietly, fidgeting with a large bag that was on her lap. Just when the meeting ended, Dr. Amy Bishop pulled a gun out of her bag and began shooting at her co-workers one by one. Dr. Amy Bishop was a Harvard graduate. But she was also a writer, a researcher, as well as a wife and mother. On paper, she was considered to be one of the most respected members of society. But underneath that facade, Dr. Amy Bishop was an extremely disturbed woman with a very dark and violent past. And it just so happens that the shooting at the University of Alabama was not her first encounter with murder.
