The iFanboy.com Comic Book Podcast is a weekly talk show all about the best new current comic book releases. Lifelong friends, Conor Kilpatrick and Josh Flanagan talk about what they loved and (sometimes) hated in the current weekly books, from publishers like Marvel, DC, Image Comics, Dark Horse Comics, BOOM! Studios, IDW, Aftershock, Valiant, and more. The aim is to have a fun time, some laughs, but to also really understand what makes comic books work and what doesn’t, and trying to understand the craft of this great, often under appreciated art form. Sometimes they agree, and sometimes… they don’t. With decades of experience talking about comics, interacting with comic book professionals, this is all about the love of an art form. The iFanboy - Comic Books podcast provides reviews and discussion about comics. iFanboy is a website that shares the latest news and commentary about the world of comics. Every week, one team member shares a written review of their favorite comic books. They decided to start a podcast in 2005 and provide their recommendations in audio form as well. They share their thoughts on everything from Action Comics to The Green Lantern and The Space Between.

The primary podcast hosts are iFanboy founders Josh Flanagan and Conor Kilpatrick. Josh loves classic superhero comics and has created several comic books himself. Resident "DC Guy" Conor has extensive knowledge of the DC universe. Cohost Ron Richards has a passion for Marvel comics. He co-founded the Geek Cred podcast.

New episodes of iFanboy - Comic Books premiere every Thursday and Sunday. Regular segments include "Talksplode Time," "Mediasplode," and "Booksplode." "Talksplode" provides an interview with someone from the industry. One guest is writer Jason Aaron, who developed characters for Thor and The Avengers. Josh talks to him about his latest series, Once Upon a Time at the End of the World. They discuss moving from Marvel to DC and how Josh has made a career from his passion for comics.

"Booksplode" is a special edition of the podcast that comes out twice a month. It focuses on a single graphic novel or collector's edition. In one, Josh and Conor explore The Death of Superman 30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition. They discuss where they were when the book premiered and how Superman's death made the news. There were hordes of people lining up outside the local comic book shops. Josh and Conor review the book with new insight more than 30 years later.

The iFanboy - Comic Books podcast discusses everything from Batman to niche novels. The team interviews fascinating writers and artists, including Rick Remender and Howard Chaykin. Plus, they share their knowledge and opinions on all the latest comic books weekly.
