What Is The Difference Between Self-talk and Hypnotherapy? Which One is Better?
Jun 22 2021
What Is The Difference Between Self-talk and Hypnotherapy? Which One is Better?
What Is The Difference Between Self-talk and Hypnotherapy? Which One is Better?  If you are having difficulties with adjusting to life or just your surroundings, self-talk can be a great way to turn your thoughts into reality. Self-talk is different from hypnotherapy in that there is no one else there to guide you through the process. However, they both have the same goal: to help you adjust to life and change your state of mind.*Thompson, J. (2016). The Benefits of Self-Talk: What is it and how does it work? Retrieved from https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/...Hypnosis and self-talk are often used interchangeably, but they are actually different. Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic process that employs hypnotic suggestions to effect positive change. Self-talk is a way of talking to oneself that can help to turn thoughts into reality.“I can do that” is the mantra that will help you achieve anything. Self-talk is a reflection of what you want to think and feel, but it isn’t always enough. Hypnosis can be an effective way to enhance your ability to focus on your self-talk and work towards your goals.Self-talk is an affirmation or a proclamation. The hypnotherapist will help you tap into the power of your mind to create an effective self-talk mantra, as well as hypnosis techniques designed to help you focus on this mantra. Both approaches are helpful in different ways.Time Stamp00:00  Intro01:80 Who is Cheyne Towers ?  More detail at https://learntdsl.com/06:45 What is the relationship between hypnosis vs meditation vs visualization09:33 What type of meditation20:02  Body posture affects mental stage24:11 Music affects positivityWhat is your #1 takeaway?  Leave me a comment. How to Perform at Your BEST Over 50 | Who Says 50 is Too OLD to Learn TAEKWONDO?

How to Perform at Your BEST Over 50 | Who Says 50 is Too OLD to Learn TAEKWONDO?
Who says 50 is too old to learn taekwondo?  How to Perform at your best when you are 50 or over?   Entering middle age is typically known as the "midlife crisis" because of how people believe that this time period is not a happy and rewarding one. However, the truth is that you can make use of getting older to reach your goals and to even perform at your best...and it's all related with having a mental mindset, wisdom, know when to listen to your body, and following a healthy lifestyle.  Older people tend to lose more muscle mass and gain fat after the age of 40. But a lack of physical activity and less strenuous exercises make it more likely for middle-aged adults to become tired easily and struggle with basic everyday tasks. This can accelerate the deterioration of muscles and metabolism, especially after 50 years old. To function at your optimum you've got to train at your optimum. Use this advice for 50 and above to realize an improvement in your physical, mental and spiritual well-being.Chapters of the Audio:  00:00 Introduction00:18 Who is Dr. Laura Jaget02:22 Is it too late to Kick? 06:26 How to listen to your body10:51 How to improve physical performance22:32 Is mental training important?  28:29 Don't let your age limit youDr. Laura Jaget is a Chiropractor, retired Tennis Athlete and a Mother of four Children.  Her website is https://HowToLife.Com.Master Sarah Chung's FREE Course: SELF-DEFENSE & BASIC TAEKWONDOWant to become smarter in self-protection?  This is an easy & fun self-defense course for women and girls without previous experience in martial arts or taekwondo. Alzheimer's is the most common cause of dementia. They are many risk factors for developing dementia, including age, family history and lifestyle choices.  Dementia is not a normal part of aging. It’s a totally different condition and it can happen to anyone.  Dementia is a group of brain diseases that cause a range of symptoms, including memory loss and difficulties with communication, problem-solving or language. Together, these symptoms are likely to affect a person’s ability to perform everyday activities. The signs of Alzheimer's disease are often subtle at first. One of the earliest is a decline in short-term memory, which may be misdiagnosed as a less serious condition such as depression or the side effects of medication. Other possible symptoms include becoming more easily confused and disoriented, experiencing personality changes and trouble communicating. Dementia is a serious medical condition that causes problems with memory, thinking and behavior.  It's not normal to lose your memory as you get older. However, it is normal to forget names or where you put your keys sometimes. If you start to notice more serious memory loss or other signs of dementia, see your doctor right away.Make sure you watch this interview until the end.  Dr. Michel  Gagné gives you the best tips and tricks to prevent dementia naturally.  Dr. Gagne is a Performance Lifestyle Consultant.  You won't regret it. Support the show
