On The Martha Stewart Podcast, the namesake lifestyle expert has friendly conversations. Everyone she interviews is someone who inspires her. Many of Martha' Stewart's guests work in industries that focus on aesthetics. She wants people to live beautiful lives.

In one episode, Martha talks to Darcy Miller, who got her start working on Martha's magazine. The founder of Darcy Miller Designs tells Martha about launching Celebration Expert. Darcy explains how she wanted to return to being a part of people's events. She tells Martha that she thinks of herself in this role as being part fairy godmother, part creative director. The two have a history: Martha introduced Darcy to the man she would marry.

In another episode, Martha talks to MJ Day. She photographed Martha for Sports Illustrated. MJ has worked on the magazine's swimsuit issues since 1999. The two talk about how society has taught women to limit themselves. MJ says that Martha inspires her because Martha has never been a swimsuit model. Martha speaks of MJ's kindness and generosity during the photo shoot.

Martha talks to interior designer Michael S. Smith in an episode. He worked on Shonda Rhimes' apartment in New York and the Obamas' residential quarters at the White House. Michael tells Martha how he is happy that people are less restrictive now about the style of their homes. He prefers to see people blending decors in a way that is personal to them.

Martha also has lovely conversations with people in the entertainment industry. In one episode, Andy Cohen fights the urge to interview Martha, who has been on his show, Watch What Happens Live. It's also fun to hear Snoop Dogg talk about dressing up for his grandkids' birthday parties. Other guests include Clive Davis, Chelsea Handler, and Paul Shaffer.
