The Gay Gospel? How Pro-Gay Advocates Misread The Bible
It is so interesting to me, how Jesus answers this question from the Church of His day in Matthew 19:1-6. He not only answer the question about divorce, but He also gives us the standard for all of sexuality at the very same time. Look at what Jesus does here. He points us right back to the beginning of creation in Genesis 2:24, and with one statement we see the template for all sexuality. We see the standard for which all sexuality is now based and judged. One biological man and one biological woman under a covenant from God is His definition of marriage and sexuality. It’s so simple isn’t it? God is not a God of confusion and disorder, He is a God of simplicity and order. We as humans are the one’s who make things difficult! Let me give you an example: When I left my first wife and chose to have two affairs with two different women... I knew it was wrong. I don’t know if I ever would have called it “sin” back then, because the word “sin” wasn’t in my vocabulary, but I knew it was wrong... I was defiant. I was entitled. And I was going to do what I wanted to do and nobody could or would tell me any different. I knew it was wrong but I justified my thoughts and rationalized my behavior. And now I see myself in so many of you. "Dustin, when is lust actually lust? How long is “too long” to look? Dustin, I know that I’m not supposed to be sleeping with my girlfriend, but see...we love one another, and you don’t want me to hold back my love from her right? Dustin, is masturbation a sin? How can pornography hurt anyone?" Brothers and sisters, ladies and gentlemen… time and time again, I will point you back to Genesis 2:24. Not my words, but God’s...God’s Word’s reiterated by His Son Jesus Christ. Look, even if you’re not a Christian…I understand the skepticism. But the reason I believe this to be true is because anyone who claims to be God, predicts His own death and then rises from the dead and then shows Himself to hundreds of people afterward to prove to us that He is exactly who He said He was...has the authority over everything and everyone. Secondly, I believe this to be true, because I tried the world’s way. It didn’t work out so well. I was an addict for over 20 years of my life..and if you want to hear the whole story, visit DustinDanielsRadio.com. We tend to frame this discussion as God, being a grumpy grandfather type stereotypical character and cosmic kill joy...instead of a Loving Father who only wants the very best for you. Pastor James MacDonald says something like this...We don’t realize that when God says don’t, He is saying “don’t hurt yourself”. But we continue to hurt ourselves. Our country has hurt itself again, by legalizing sexual sin. And the Church still doesn't know how to deal with same sex attraction, homosexuality, and now gay legalized marriage. So on today’s show, I wanted give a very clear picture of where we are from a Biblical Worldview on this topic of homosexuality.

Godly Wisdom
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction. Proverbs 1:7 For wisdom will come into your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul; Proverbs 2:10 An intelligent heart acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge. Proverbs 18:15 We as a culture are fascinated with knowledge aren’t we? Dare I say “addicted to education”, obsessed with our studies, longing to learn new things that will allow us to get the next promotion, be a better parent or lose that dreaded ten pounds. But what about learning things of the spiritual world? It’s amazing to me what Jesus told us. In Matthew 18:3 - Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven. The apostle Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 1:27 But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong;. And I love the snippet of scripture in John 3 - a conversation between Jesus and a religious man named Nicodemus. This guy was THE teacher in all of Israel….and everything he had ever learned and taught was wrong about salvation- this concept of being saved from our sins. So how does all this relate to God’s definition sexual purity. Is it possible that you may have learned some incorrect things about sexuality growing up? Of course, we all have! So, how do we unlearn them? And then how do we learn the beauty, the majesty and the glory of what God says sexuality and purity really truly is? That is our topic for today… Godly Wisdom.
Who Are You?

Who Are You?
If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. - 2 Corinthians 5:17 I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. - Galatians 2:20 …. for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light. 10 “Once you had no identity as a people; now you are God’s people. Once you received no mercy; now you have received God’s mercy. -1 Peter 2:9-10 Who are you? That is the question of today’s show. Now some of you might be thinking, well…I’m a banker, plumber, realtor. No….that’s what you do for a living. The question is…. startling really. Who are you? Some of you may start thinking about things that your parents or other kids as you were growing up called you…ya know…things that aren’t so nice. And those things unfortunately seem to play over and over in our heads when we become adults and believe it or not…they affect our relationships. But see, that’s not who you are either. We just kind of latch on to those names - those associations - those failures in our life. It seems to me that we have a case of mistaken identity in the Church. Let's find out why, as we tackle the topic of topic of Identity…Who are you?
Live Altering Prayer

Live Altering Prayer
A couple weeks ago we talked about New Years Resolutions vs. Finding the Rhythm of God in your life for 2015. What we discussed was Finding God’s Rhythm to pray in a way that doesn’t benefit yourself…. but glorifies our Savior. We used the scripture from Psalm 139:23-24 Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life. I’m curious if you prayed that scripture as your New Years resolution for 2015. It’s a little scary isn’t it….to not pray for Almighty God to make your life more comfortable, but rather give that illusion of control over your life… to Him, so that He can start dealing with your heart wounds and fears. It’s one thing to make a New Years Resolution to lose weight, but its a life altering prayer… to ask God to search your heart so that you know why you’re masking your pain with too much food in the first place. It’s one thing to make a New Years Resolution to prepare a financial budget so you know where your money is going. But its a life transforming prayer to ask God to search your heart and expose the greed, the materialism, and the lust of this world that reigns deep in your heart. Its one thing to make a New Years Resolution to stop looking at pornography. But its a bold prayer filled with the promise of freedom when you ask God to search your heart and open up the shame issue that drives you to medicate your life with sex in the first place. We also answer questions from Kyle in Kansas City Missouri and who wants to know the deal with the show's theme music and Jill from Toronto Canada who saw the woman her husband had an affair with at the grocery store.

Being Double Minded
If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. - 2 Corinthians 5:17 I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. - Gal 2:20 Have you ever pondered that? That you are a new creation. You’re not just some shiny new update of your old worn out self….but God says that if you have accepted Christ as your Savior, He has taken your heart of stone and given you a heart of flesh. You are a new creation! Christ lives in you! Now some of you might be thinking….ya know Dustin, I’ve heard that, and I read that….but it really is so hard for me to believe it because you just don’t know me. You don’t what goes through my crazy mind…and besides I keep doing the very things that I hate doing. I thought I was supposed to stop doing all those hurtful things but I haven’t. And to be honest there is a part of me that still likes my sin too much. Is that how you feel? Can I share with you that I get it. I get the fact that you have crazy things going through your mind, and I get it that you think that if someone really found out about the type of person you really are, no one would want to hang out with you. I’ve been there done that and bought way too many t-shirts in this area of my life. And then one day I found a scripture that pierced by soul. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. - James 4:8 Double-minded! OUCH! Ya know the truth will set you free but it hurts like crazy first. What does it mean to be double-minded? Listen to the show to find out!
Love, Sex and Women

Love, Sex and Women
We are obsessed with this idea of love aren’t we? From the songs we listen to, to the movies we watch and the books we read, we are totally and completely preoccupied with this concept of love. And yet, I’m not sure we even know what love is. For most of us, its simply a feeling that we enjoy when things are going our way, but when we don’t get what we want out of a particular relationship the feeling simply goes away and we “fall out of love.” That’s why its so important to have a biblical worldview instead of your own personal worldview in which you approach your life and circumstances. I remember being in college one semester and trying to impress my professor. I told him I was an atheist, just like him. After the semester was over, I decided that wasn’t working for me, so I joked around with my friends that I was forming a new religion called “Dustin-ism”. Well, I gotta tell ya, that didn’t work out so well for me either. It never works out well when you crown yourself King and expect everyone to serve you, does it? In fact that is the very opposite of biblical love. Let’s go to 1 Corinthians 13 and do a small exercise. You may have done this in Sunday school class….but what I want you to do is simply replace the words “love and it” with your name as you read the passage. Well, what do you think? Love from a biblical perspective is anything but a feeling. In fact love from a biblical perspective is not a feeling at all. Love is a person. 1 John 4:8 tells us that God is love. All we have to do is look at the life of Jesus to see what love is because He is the author and sustainer of love. My guests are a father and son who speak on love, sex and women from the perspective of a young man asking real authentic questions to his father as he learns to live life on his own. Why Can Jesus Set Others Free From Pornography, But Not Me

Why Can Jesus Set Others Free From Pornography, But Not Me
Christ has set us free to live a free life. So take your stand! Never again let anyone put a harness of slavery on you. -Galatians 5:1 MSG Have you ever thought to yourself, that Christ has indeed forgiven others…and he has forgiven me….except for this one thing. I mean how could God forgive me for that? (whatever that may be). Maybe it was something you did or maybe it was something that was done to you….regardless of what it is….there’s a voice deep down inside of you telling you that, whatever that thing is….it’s unforgivable. You tell yourself that Jesus has forgiven others, but He can’t forgive me. I’ve heard that, I’ve said that and believed that lie for many years of my own life. It kept me bound up in silence and shame for over 20 years. And now I hear that same exact lie from other men and women. It’s amazing…shame and the demonic spiritual world don’t have any new tricks. They spew the same lies to all of humanity, and they’ve been doing exactly that since The Fall. So what do you do when you hear that lie of unworthiness? The only thing to do is replace the lie with Truth…the truth of Galatians 5 - that Christ has set us free to live a free life. So take your stand! Never again let anyone put a harness of slavery on you. Another lie that we tend to believe is that Jesus can set others free from the bondage of pornography, but not me. I’ve been looking too long, I live a secret life, it would hurt my family too much if they found out, I would lose my job, my Church, my ministry. So we continue to believe that lie and step back into a self-imposed prison filled with shame by voluntarily putting that harness of slavery of pornography around our neck. Is it true? That Jesus can set others free from the bondage of pornography, except me. Well, my guest today has a lot to say regarding that question. The Divorce Rate is NOT 50%!

The Divorce Rate is NOT 50%!
Some Pharisees… came and tried to trap Jesus with this question: “Should a man be allowed to divorce his wife?” Jesus answered them with a question: “What did Moses say in the law about divorce?” “Well, he permitted it,” they replied. “He said a man can give his wife a written notice of divorce and send her away.” But Jesus responded, “He wrote this commandment only as a concession to your hard hearts. But ‘God made them male and female’ from the beginning of creation. ‘This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one.’ Since they are no longer two but one, let no one split apart what God has joined together.” - Gospel of Mark 10:2-9 How many times have you heard the devastating statistics on divorce? From TV reports to your pastor quoting stats from the pulpit, your pre-marital counselor scaring you into staying married..and now your marriage counselor not sure if your marriage will survive because after all the divorce rate is 50%… I bet you can quote the other stats as well. I also bet you can tell me that the divorce rate is the same inside the Church as it is outside. Haven’t we all heard these depressing life-less numbers? I’m certainly guilty of it. But ya know something…I started noticing couples that had been married 40-50 years over the past several years. lots of them!…and I started to think, wait a second something just doesn’t seem right. All I have to do is look around and I’ll see examples of strong healthy marriages especially within the Church body. So where is this disconnect of life-less divorce rate statistics we hear about….vs the life long marriages Godly, committed marriages we can see…if only we would take a look. Well, today on the show we are going to get to the very bottom of the statistical confusion that has paralyzed our country and Church when it comes to marriage and divorce.
