The Power of Pivot with Tyler
In this episode of the Stop Thinking Start Doing podcast, Alicia, Erin, and Mary are joined by Mary's longtime soulmate and U.S. Diplomat, Tyler Brent. Tyler joins the crew to define pivot in his own words, share his experiences with pivoting in his professional and personal life, and remind us all of the transformative power of the pivot.  Tyler Brent has served as a Foreign Service Officer (U.S. Diplomat) within the U.S. Department of State since 2019 and is currently working at the U.S. Embassy in Beirut, Lebanon. His first assignment was as the Cultural Affairs Officer at the U.S. Consulate in Guangzhou, China and had a temporary assignment working at the U.S. Embassy in Beijing. Prior to joining the Foreign Service, he worked as an implementing partner on a USAID project spanning six countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. His languages are Mandarin Chinese, Arabic, and Spanish. He is a graduate of the College of William & Mary and is originally from New Jersey.
