Ideas for creating connection and podcast growth
“How can I grow my listenership?” I dive into that question and share ideas for strengthening your connection with listeners, which is at the heart of podcasting. Ways to Grow Your Podcast Audience Guest on Other Podcasts: Connect with new audiences by guesting on shows within your niche. When listeners hear you as a guest, they may connect with your message and want to explore your podcast as well. Video Clips on Social Media: If video is your thing, create short clips or reels related to your podcast. Share funny moments, stories, or highlights that align with your show’s vibe. Social Media Content for Writers & Photographers: If writing or photography speaks to you, use it! Post images and written content that reflects your podcast themes, sparking interest and drawing in your ideal audience. In-Person Networking: Attend conferences and events related to your show’s niche to connect with potential listeners IRL. A natural connection can make them more likely to check out your podcast. Promo Swaps: Build relationships with fellow podcasters to arrange promo swaps—a short audio promo for your show that they play on their podcast and vice versa. It’s a quick, engaging way to cross-promote with like-minded audiences. Remember: Growth is a marathon, not a sprint! Consistency is key. Stick to a regular schedule and update your listeners if there’s a break so they stay engaged and in-the-know. Links:  Download free podcast resources: http://darlenevictoria.com/free
