Future Series Champions
It may have been an off-weekend for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, but, not for Dale Tanhardt and Joshua Lipowski! They sat down to discuss both the last race at COTA and the upcoming race at Martinsville, alongside who some of the breakout stars have been in the Truck Series this season. They also discuss whether or not NASCAR should give stiffer penalties to backmarkers who cause late cautions, potentially costing other drivers wins. The COTA race gave the pair plenty to talk about, including a viral NASCAR moment. Marco Andretti’s rear-end housing broke loose from his car in one of the most bizarre incidents in NASCAR history. Tanhardt and Lipowski give their theories on what went wrong. Dale Tanhardt is none-too-pleased with drivers well out of contention causing late cautions that could potentially take frontrunners out of a chance to win races. Is there a solution to this? Lipowski and Tanhardt debate whether or not NASCAR can or should do something about this. With the season 5 races old and every track type on the calendar visited, it feels like as good of a time as any to look at which drivers are performing well at this point. Lipowski and Tanhardt highlight 5 drivers that have impressed them so far this season. Do these drivers have the Cup Series on the horizon? Finally, the two break down the upcoming race at Martinsville Speedway. Lipowski goes with some potentially unorthodox selections for which drivers could win, fade, and upset on Friday. Tanhardt gives his selections as well, including a potentially controversial fade pick.

First, we get to learn about the cast of characters joining the show. Dale Tanhardt is a content creator known for his comedic TikToks and NASCAR betting content. Connor Hudson, aka Elly Productions, is one of the newest faces of NASCAR YouTube, known for his in-depth video essays on a variety of topics. Joshua Lipowski is the Daily Downforce news writer, and he covers the Truck Series on the site on a daily basis. The group recaps all that went down in Bristol, Tennessee. Nick Sanchez and Stewart Friesen got into a tussle on pit road after the race. With his recent fight with Matt Crafton at Talladefga in mind, is Nick Sanchez becoming the Truck Series villain? All three hosts weigh in on the topic. The trio also looks at how one of the stars of the Truck Series has done this season. Corey Heim has yet to win for TRICON Garage. Given how his teammates have performed, how much is Heim carrying that team? They also discuss what could be holding Heim back from rides higher up the food chain. It's then time to preview COTA. Road course ringers are on the entry list, but, it's the Spire #7 Truck that catches everyone's attention. Connor Zilisch is making his Truck Series debut, and the hosts are all setting the bar high for Zilisch's debut. Finally, the group puts together their predictions for the COTA race. Which drivers will win, which will fade, and which are the underdogs this weekend? Each of them has their own takes on which drivers will end up in different spots this weekend.
