Round 2 / Celtics @ Cavaliers / Game 4 / 2024 Playoffs

Round 2 / Celtics @ Cavaliers / Game 4 / 2024 Playoffs
No Donovan Mitchell, no problem, right? Not exactly, but the Celtics are able to grind out a game 4 victory over the Cavs 109-102 and take a commanding 3-1 lead in their round 2 playoff series. Much like in game 3 it was the Jays and Jrue leading the way. Tatum had 33/11/5, Jaylen had 27/8, and Jrue added 16/7/5 with outstanding defense as usual. The Cavs fought valiantly without their best player, raining 3s in the first half and rallying behind a 30 ball from Garland. The series now heads back to Boston where the Celtics will look to close things out on Wednesday night and advance to the Eastern Conference Finals. Chuddy and Doug break down all the action and take a look around the NBA at every playoff series, break down a crazy NBA draft lottery, and talk potential repercussions of a new media rights deal for the league. May 12 2024
Round 2 / Celtics @ Cavaliers / Game 3 / 2024 Playoffs
As they always seem to do, the Celtics go on the road and respond with a 106-93 game 3 win over the Cavs. The C’s now lead the second-round series 2-1. The Jays led the way as Jayston Tatum had 33 points and 13 rebounds while Jaylen Brown had 28 points on 13-17 shooting. The defense for Boston was a major story as well; they survived a hot shooting night from Donovan Mitchell and were able to limit the Cavs role players. The Celts will look to take a 3-1 stranglehold in the series on Monday. Chuddy and Doug break down all the action and take a look around the NBA at every playoff series. Round 1 / Celtics vs Heat / Game 5 / 2024 Playoffs
The Celtics take care of business and slay the evil demon Heat in dominant fashion 118-84 to finish off their first-round series 4-1. Derrick White and Jaylen Brown each poured in 25 points while Jayson Tatum controlled the game on both ends. This was a party from start to finish and the Celtics even gave the fans a chance to appreciate the legendary Mike Gorman who called the final game of his career. Apr 30 2024
Round 1 / Celtics @ Heat / Game 4 / 2024 Playoffs
The Celtics stroll into Miami and leave with two wins over the Heat. Boston won game 4 102-88 behind a monster game from Derrick White who scored a career high 38 points. The Jays led the way and Al Horford and Jrue Holiday were on demon time. But it wasn’t all fun and games; Kristaps Porzingis left the game with a non-contact injury and didn’t return and then Jayson Tatum appeared to roll his ankle late in the game. The team heads back to Boston where they’ll hope to get some good news on the injury and hope to close out the Heat in game 5. Chuddy and Doug break down the game, take a look ahead to Game 5, and break down some of the other series going on in the NBA playoffs.  Follow the show on Twitter/X: @ChuddysCorner @KingChuddy @Doug_Outs @_nickpiraino  Check out the show blog at ChuddysCorner.com and leave us a voicemail with your questions and comments about the Celtics, the NBA, or life in general! Round 1 / Celtics vs Heat / Game 2 / 2024 Playoffs
The Celtics get embarrassed at home by the Heat in all too familiar fashion in Game 2 111-101. The Jays played well, everyone else was bad, and Spo coached circles around Joe. Is the sky falling or was this a blip on the radar? Every Celtics fan definitely had a flashback to last season as the Heat’s devil magic was back in a big way as they shot 23-40 from the three-point line. Now the series shifts to Miami on Saturday night tied at 1-1. King Chuddy and Doug Outs break down the entire game, storylines going into game 3, plus take a look at the other NBA Playoff matchups around the league.  Follow the show on Twitter/X: @ChuddysCorner @KingChuddy @Doug_Outs @_nickpiraino  Check out the show blog at ChuddysCorner.com and leave us a voicemail with your questions and comments about the Celtics, the NBA, or life in general!
