From the makers of The Bugle, this is a weekly show that skips the news pages and takes a sideways glance at the nonsense contained within the culture, celebrity, tech, science and advice sections of the news.
Alice Fraser is joined every show by two great comics from across the globe, bringing 30 minutes of smart satire alongside juvenile nonsense!

The Gargle comes from the makers of The Bugle, an English satirical news podcast. It finds the silliness in technology, relationships, and more. While the humor comes from the UK, the topics here are universal. The Gargle's main rule is "no politics." The show refers to their fans as "garglers."
Alice Fraser hosts The Gargle. The Australian comedian has hosted the podcast since it began in 2021. Before that, Alice was a regular cohost on The Bugle. One of The Bugle's original cohosts was John Oliver. Alice has performed around the world. Her comedy specials are on Amazon Prime. Alice also hosts the podcast Tea With Alice. On that show, Alice has interesting conversations with thoughtful guests over tea. Alice has also cohosted Stranger Than Sci Fi. This BBC Radio 4 series discusses the connections between science fiction and science. Alice has given a Tedx talk that shifts from anal bleaching to death.
Each week, two comedians join Alice on The Gargle. Regulars include Josh Gondelman, Alison Spittle, Neil Delamere, Nabil Abdulrashid, and Tish Stevenson. Josh has been a writer at Last Week Tonight With John Oliver and the head writer for Desus and Mero. Alison's comedy shows include Worrier Princess. She cofounded the BBC podcast Wheel of Misfortune. Neil stars on The Blame Game, a BBC Northern Ireland comedy TV show.
Nabil has toured with his religious comedy show Don't Panic, I'm Islamic! Tish's comedy bits include singing Dreams as Stevie Nicks and Cartman from South Park.
