The Knuckleheads with Quentin Richardson & Darius Miles podcast features two retired NBA players. Quentin Richardson and Darius Miles are two of the most beloved former players in the modern NBA. The two friends were both known for their skill on the court and sense of humor. However, basketball isn't the only thing that comes up on this podcast. Whether it is pop culture or current events, these two always have something to say.
This podcast has two savvy voices as cohosts. Richardson spent 13 years playing professional basketball for the NBA. During that time, he played for the Los Angeles Clippers, New York Knicks, and Miami Heat, among other teams. He would then spend two years with the Detroit Pistons as their director of player development. Miles played almost for a decade in the NBA. His first team was the Los Angeles Clippers. This is where he started his friendship with Richardson. He went on to play for several other teams, including the Cleveland Cavaliers. He eventually retired with the Memphis Grizzlies at the end of the 2008-2009 season.
Knuckleheads with Quentin Richardson & Darius Miles is a Players' Tribune podcast production. The new media endeavor was the idea of Derek Jeter, who founded the company in 2014. Its goal is to allow former and current professional athletes to tell their stories.
In this podcast, the two interview many NBA legends. No less than Grant Hill and J.J. Redick have been guests on the show. Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has also been a part of the show. These interviews are both insightful and fun. Hill is able to speak about the unique aspect of having been both a former player and a coach. Cuban's interview focuses more on the business aspects of owning an NBA team.
