#GEP Episode 009: Toothache, no more E-tolls and Restaurant Bread
Ever found yourself negotiating with friends over who owes what? I playfully propose a foot race to settle debt in this episode, making for a refreshing take on financial interactions. But it's not all fun and games; I also tackle the serious implications of the government's decision to scrap e-tolls, a victory for motorists that comes with its own set of challenges. As I share my own experiences with the eToll system, I delve into the public's resistance and the government's struggle to fund road infrastructure, making for a conversation as dynamic as the roads we travel. Then, I get personal, opening up about a recent battle with toothache pain that gave me a whole new level of empathy for anyone who's faced this agony. With an appointment looming, I muse on the importance of oral health and the surprising ways a toothache can throw a wrench into the works of daily life. It's an episode filled with both lighthearted laughs and empathetic insights, and whether you're a toothache veteran or a dental dilettante, you're sure to find a story that resonates with your own life. Restaurant bread - a culinary delight! Freshly baked, warm, and inviting, it's more than just a side. Restaurant bread is a treasure that deserves our appreciation and food stores need to add them on their shelves - indulge and enjoy!Join me for a journey from the fast lane of our freeways to the vulnerable moments in a dentist's chair—it's an episode you won't want to miss.Support the Show.Instagram: @GepWeb

#GEP Episode 007: Women's Month, Culture and 'Accent' Appropriation, Poetry, Nepotism, Public Health en Afrique, How I met my fiancée, and more, feat. Lizza Tshowa.
HELLOOOOO, Happy women's month to y'all beautiful ladies out there. Today marks the last episode of our Women's month series - which has been a pure pleasure. Today is episode 4 (and last) of our 'LE MOIS DE LA FEMME SERIES' and who better to talk about women than... Another WOMAN ? So, today we are joined by LIZETTE TSHOWA, a Monash University Alumna. Public Health graduate, she now works in her field of study. She refers to herself as "the BAG", as she is one involved in many activities. I know her as a poet and writer. On the pod, we discussed women's month and their place in society. She gave a different perspective to women's place in society as she brought up the fact that some women are part of the reason why women do not thrive - due to self esteem issues, intimidation and things of the sort. We then spoke about culture appropriation as well as the lack of accent consistency in us, foreigners - as English is not necessarily the first language to most of us. Moreover, we discussed her love and passion for POETRY - an amazing poet she is. She even went as far as writing a poem for us.. well, not just one but TWO poems. Additionally, in the complaint section, we spoke about NEPOTISM, a concept that divides the masses - for or against? It is indeed hard to say! Furthermore, she spoke about a business she co-founded: Public Health en Afrique. As previously mentioned, I recently got engaged, so we spent a few minutes talking about How I Met My Fiancée, and so much more. Make sure you check out her socials: Instagram: @PoemsandCollectives  website: www.poemsandcollectives.comWe hope you enjoyed 'LE MOIS DE LA FEMME' series as well as this episode. HELLOOOOO, Happy women's month to y'all beautiful ladies out there. It is still women's month !!! Today is episode 3 of our 'LE MOIS DE LA FEMME SERIES' and who better to talk about women than... A WOMAN ? So, today we are joined by JOSEPHA MUYA, a University of Johannesburg Alumna. Marketing graduate, she now works for a communication company and travels A LOT - the dream. On the pod, we discussed women's month and their place in society. So far,  to be quite frank, she's the one who has provided me with the best definition of FEMINISM - at least in my opinion, her definition of the concept was easily understandable. We then tackled a topic that is dear to men: should me be 'allowed' to cry more? Further, we spent quite a to of time discussing her passion for travelling; she's been to sooooooo many places, therefore it was a pleasure to have her on the pod talk about her various experiences, as a traveller. As I have done with all the guests so far, we spoke about the Tinder Swindler - but this time, South Africa's very own Tinder Swindler, lol. Moreover, much to my surprise, she opened up about her passion for Formula 1 - yes, women are into that too (beautiful). We also reflected on the year 2020, and much much more. Make sure you check out her socials: Instagram: @Josepha_Muya  (same handle for all her other socials). We hope you enjoy 'LE MOIS DE LA FEMME' series as well as this episode. #GEP Episode 002: Empty Your Glass [part 1]

#GEP Episode 002: Empty Your Glass [part 1]
The GET EQUIPPED podcast  #GEPMarketing EMPTY YOUR GLASS  [part 1]-       Where there is no light, darkness can shine. ·      episode’s scripture: EPHESIANS 5:7-14The devil wants us to keep our sins secret, that way there is no one to pray AGAINST them – allowing him to work peaceably. In 1 Peter 5:8, the BIBLE says that our enemy the devil prowls (wanders) seeking someone to devour. That shows his limitations. Satan is not omnipresent. Consequently, the only way he can control you is by keeping you in cycles – stuck in a corner. Therefore, by not exposing our sin, we are actually doing him a favor. -       BE VOCAL ABOUT YOUR SIN! (do not accommodate them). -       WHERE THERE IS NOT LIGHT, DARKNESS CAN SHINE.  Today’s episode will be split in two parts. In part one, we will look at our hearts as containers of good. Good intentions, good values, good morals… a container of a GOOD GOD. The Bible says darkness and light cannot coexist. Moreover, Jésus said that we cannot serve two masters, for we will love one and forsake the other.  Therefore, I urge you to have a hard look at your life and make sure you are welcoming the HOLY GOD we worship, into a pure heart, full of love and well-intentioned.  I further compare our lives (hearts, bodies) to a glass. It would not make sense for me to drink water from a glass that contained a poisonous drink before. Similarly, I want us, as Christians to empty our glasses which were once filled with anger, hatred, jealousy, gossip, and all sorts of bad intentions - didn't the apostle Paul say that our bodies were the temple of the HOLY SPIRIT ? So, I hope you enjoy this episode half as much as I was blessed recording it. please share and subscribe, tell a friend to tell a friend (you know how it goes lol)God bless you, with love, Doxel Kyungu.     CREDIT:                           intro music: Oh My Lord - Sho Baraka                          outro song: Signs to Nowhere - Shane Ivers (https://www.silvermansound.com) Support the Show.Instagram: @GepWeb
