He turned his skills toward solving crimes that have seen wrongful convictions. Each week, Ruff examines existing evidence and highlights new information. Some information may be brand new or didn't get looked at in the original investigation.

Ruff reveals shocking truths in each episode. Listeners from around the world submit tips and theories before each episode. With this information, Ruff tries to solve the crime and find the truth. Truth & Justice with Bob Ruff is a twist on the typical true crime podcast format. It allows listeners to feel like real investigators themselves.
