Yet, current date shows that up to 35% of elite athletes suffer from a mental health issue which may manifest as stress, burnout, an eating disorder, anxiety or depression. On this edition of "Conversations of Connection...Mental Wellness in Sports & Life", Timmy Newsome, a member of the Dallas Cowboys All-Decade Team of the 80's and member of the Winston Salem State University Athletic Hall of Fame, discusses the subject with co-hosts, Scott Murray and Dr. Nina Rios-Doria.
