Copper Angel: Act 2
**TRIGGER WARNING** Depictions of war, drug use, and PTSDBased on true events and the life-changing work of artist Anna Ladd, Copper Angel begins as Anna is thrust from the comfort of her Boston home and into the middle of WWI. While having found a vocation, sculpting personalized facial masks for injured soldiers, artist Anna Ladd struggles with how to maintain her work and wrestles with doubts regarding its effectiveness. Both her husband Maynard and Clarence, the soldier with whom she’d made a tenuous connection, push back against her efforts, and all struggle to maintain stability during the height of the war. Based on true events, Copper Angel delves into the physical and mental scars of conflict, the struggle of finding and holding on to one’s calling, and the various ways love and patience aid in the difficult journey towards healing.  Written by Emily McClainDirectorKlay Brackney WandelearCastKara Leimer - Anna Coleman LaddSean M.
