Episode 18 of Pixels and Pints Podcast, with Bradley and Michael. We're just two dudes discussing recent video game releases while drinking some adult beverages. In this episode we look at what the new PS5 Pro Controller has to offer at it's hefty price tag, and how it compares to its competition on the Xbox. We tread lightly through some Reddit posts that have leaked Bayonetta 3 gameplay and story elements, and keep our eyes peels so you don't have to before the game drops on October 28th, 2022. Square Enix releases a new gameplay trailer for Final Fantasy 16 called Ambition, and trademarks “Symbiogenesis” in Japan. Does this mean we're getting a new Parasite Eve game? Let's look into it! We review more of the Silent hill Transmissions trailers and gather more information on what each game is supposed to be. Michael goes over the history of the developers involved in each title, and let's us know what we can look forward to in terms of gameplay. Capcom released a Resident Evil showcase that includes the Resident Evil Village update, and a remastered version of Resident Evil 4. Then we get into some juicy drama with Alan Wake on the switch, and we find some loose closure in the Bayonetta drama that has plagued the gaming landscape for the past week. Episode 17 of Pixels and Pints Podcast, with Bradley and Michael. We're just two dudes discussing recent video game releases while drinking some adult beverages. In this episode we continue trying to be healthier by slamming water and sugar-free soda while slamming through some drama and sludge-filled ooze that is the gaming news scene this week. Meta launches a new headset for business needs this week, and acquires a few few new studios. Playstation plus members eat better than ever, continuing a trend of big AAA games being released to Extra and Premium tiers. Bravely Default was rumored by the creative team to maybe have a remake coming through. Is it worth the wait and development time? Konami is making waves this week as we ramp up to a Wednesday press event where the company plans to reveal all new Silent Hill news about the franchise as a whole. This spooky season is coming off with some absolute terrifying treats for gamers if that's the case. Lastly, we wade the the thick lagoon of L's. G4TV shuts it's doors, wrapping up our dreams in a box and throwing it down the stairs, and into the trashcan outside. Nvidia got called out so much on the 12GB 4080's performance that they delaunched the card, and put out some really weird press releases. Square Enix shut down Final Fantasy VII: The first Soldier on mobile platforms, the only place to play the game, and the place most Final Fantasy fans play the least amount of games. Being a PC game may have saved that title, but we will never know now. Lastly, we get into the big news, the Bayonetta blunder that called for boycotts after the release of a video on twitter by voice actor Hellena Taylor. Thanks for listening.
