The devolution of local media has led to the loss of a shared perspective and common ground with people increasingly fragmented into siloed information bubbles. Local newspapers, radio shows and TV personalities used to connect the community by covering local events, personalities, and issues that brought people together across different backgrounds. Welcome to America, the new Banana Republic.  Thanks to what we call banana republicans in Washington, we shudder as they fail to stand up for conservative principles and the Constitution in exchange for a comfortable lobbying job or pensions.  In the meantime…Democrats have an active agenda and the banana republicans offer no real opposition.

Today, Cashel and Edge debate over the Americans with Disabilities Act and its impact on our society. They observe how it influences everything from small businesses to parking lots. The ADA inadvertently obstructs entrepreneurial efforts by burdening small businesses with extensive adaptations and regulations to cater to a minority.  Moreover, they oppose the misuse of ADA privileges by non-disabled persons, adding to society's cynicism. The duo also comment on how the act has shifted cultural perspectives, attributing diseases to conditions like alcoholism and gender dysphoria. We’re taking an excursion into Jack’s early career life with job interviews that seemed to hit the fan.  It wasn’t Jack, it was the companies themselves.  We call it Corporate Oppression that leads us to our topic…a powerful elite, characterized as "psychopaths, sociopaths, eugenicists, moral relativists, secular humanists," is engaged in systematic oppression of American values and institutions. This oppression manifests in various ways, from corporate censorship to political corruption. We believe that polite, persistent questioning and highlighting hypocrisy can be effective in holding institutions and individuals accountable. Plus we’ll offer suggestions about how to deal with the Time Machine Morlocks out there!

Today's topic is language deterioration and vocabulary quality among kids today. We identify a stark decline in language skills among society, tied to our lax education system. We nostalgically remember how Reader’s Digest played a role in vocabulary enhancement of older generations. We stand by the belief that language marks a key to success. We see the disintegration of language in our contemporary society, owing mostly to educational complacency and a lack of language discipline. Language usage varies among professions like government workers and IT professionals affecting language evolution and deterioration. We encourage people to converse with those possessing superior language skills to improve their own.

OK!  Everybody just laugh a minute.  We’re talking about humor’s role in politics and society and how it can highlight and critique political issues in an engaging way.  Plus “intersectionality”.
