Episode 25 - Forecast October 2024: Yang Wood Dog Clash Month! Obstacles, Clinging, Retreat, & Companionship.
Oct 3 2024
Episode 25 - Forecast October 2024: Yang Wood Dog Clash Month! Obstacles, Clinging, Retreat, & Companionship.
This month is the Clash month for the year. This means that friction is to be expected. However, this could be the action of a super fine grit nail file that smooths out the rough edges so you don't snag your pantyhose, or the extra rough grit of the machine that takes the bark of the tree. It could be both, or somewhere in between. Expect the unexpected, and roll with the tide. The card for the month is #39, Obstacle. Also called Hardships in some translations. There will be unexpected obstructions, struggle, and feeling discouraged. The image on this card is that of a small sailboat struggling in choppy seas. This is a reminder to stay calm and keep a firm hand on your emotions so panic doesn't inspire you to make careless choices. That will sink you faster than the external circumstances. Clarifying card #30, The Clinging, focus line 1: This is a pure fire card, which speaks to the passion, fire, and all-out devotion that many will cling to this month. Fire contains duality. It can illuminate, inspire, and transform, but it can also destroy and consume everything it touches. Using discernment can inform you when you are leaping in with both feet unwisely. Often what we see as "destiny" is masquerading as your "temptation". This is your time to pause and evaluate what you are clinging to, lest the fire of your passion burn you to a crisp. Clarifying card #33, Retreat, focus line 1: Nature knows when it's time to pull back. The image on this card is one of birds flying south for the winter. This is not weakness. This is an act of strength. Now is the time to release something that is weighing you down. By releasing the grip of overidentifying with someone, something, or some concept that used to be serving you. You will find the regeneration of the first clarifying card to be much easier. The focus line further instills the guidance that creating a lot of drama is unnecessary, and that your timing is off no matter how much you protest. Clarifying card #13, Companionship, focus line 2: We do not do well as solitary creatures. As individuals, we are but one piece of the beautiful tapestry of our community. This card encourages us to seek out our shared goals even as we create space for each individual's strengths to grow. This energy field of mutual respect and interdependence is what manifests as true harmony, a veritable heaven on earth. But it doesn't happen unless we recognize the value that each individual has intrinsically, especially those you disagree with.   To order Joy Water or Joy Soak: https://www.intuitivityllc.com/products To book a Bazi Chinese Astrology reading: https://www.theintuitiveinterior.com/book-now
Episode 23 - September 2024 I Ching Yin Water Rooster: Development, Completion, Innocence, Waiting
Sep 12 2024
Episode 23 - September 2024 I Ching Yin Water Rooster: Development, Completion, Innocence, Waiting
The Rooster is the 10th animal of the Chinese Zodiac. The personality characteristics are that of being outspoken, perfectionistic, organized, and quick to come to the right decision. They are who you want in your corner when there is a crisis, since they tend to align with those fighting for justice and have a strong sense of morality. Because they thrive on efficiency and being capable, they can easily keep their calm when @#&* hits the fan! Yin Water this month highlights adaptability, communication, artistic endeavors, and out of the box thinking. It's been compared to a gentle rain, nourishing all with gentleness, but it can also feel like fog or mist, which lends a mysterious, moody vibe and can increase fearfulness, introversion, and lack of consistency. This month, expect to see opportunities for examining relationships that feel out of harmony. Those that seem to hinder forward progress may be severed, or at least given the opportunity to draw up a new contract. The loudness of Rooster, naturally aligned with the Earth element, will be immensely enhanced by the Yin Water element. Do your best to check in on your strong friends this month...they may be feeling extra vulnerable underneath it all. The overall card for September is #53, Development. It signifies gradual progress, adaptability, and continuity. It's a reminder to stay focused in the present and avoid dreaming about the future. Don't look for shortcuts by seeking distractions from the task at hand. Be patient, as this new energy of cooperation, respect and shared vision will have us all feeling like beginners in a dance class. One step, one beat at a time and we will get the hang of it! Clarifying card #63 Completion, focus line 1: The race is won, the goal achieved! Hurray! But now what? The moment of your triumph is at hand, but it can slip away with carelessness or inattention. Let the Yin Water vibe of the month help you harness this energy and contain it. Don't bail out on your goal. Stay firm to your vision. The events that are happening now are all part of the plan that you set in motion earlier, so stay calm, take a deep breath, and "just keep Swimming"! Card #25 Innocence, focus line 5: Retrain your brain to find the joy in life, and seek out simplicity, open-heartedness, and spontaneity! Listen to your heart as it returns to an earlier form of innocence, and welcome the mistakes as part of the pleasure of being human. Notice the emotions, don't become them. And above all, expect the unexpected and actively search for how this new experience is FOR you. Card #5 Waiting, focus line 1: As the song goes, "the waiting is the hardest part"! Many want change and they want it NOW, but it's not quite time. Moderation, right timing, and perseverance are the key words, and the best course of action is to step back and not push forward. Build up your inner strength as you prepare for what is to come, whatever that may be. Focus on a positive outlook and a healthy body, and make sure all of the essential tasks are done with great care. Above all, avoid anticipating problems and working out how to deal with them ahead of time! This is depleting your life force and agitates you. Worrying is a form of self-abuse, as it's aligning yourself with the very situation that you desire to avoid.   For more information on Beverly and her work: FB: https://www.facebook.com/TheIntuitiveInterior IG: https://www.instagram.com/stories/theintuitiveinterior/ LI: https://www.linkedin.com/in/beverly-biehl-9726336/ Website: https://www.theintuitiveinterior.com/
Episode 21 - August 2024 Yang Water Monkey I Ching forecast: Discipline, Obstacles, and Self-Restraint
Aug 8 2024
Episode 21 - August 2024 Yang Water Monkey I Ching forecast: Discipline, Obstacles, and Self-Restraint
The Yang Water Monkey month is filled with vitality, problem solving, adventurousness, and dynamic exhilaration! It's also prone to pushiness, unpredictability, and mercurial selfishness. This may be exacerbated by Mercury Retrograde, which starts on August 4th and goes to August 27th. The I Ching card for this month is #7, Discipline. Yang Water needs structure, so this is the time to mobilize forces, exert authority, and define your direction or lose out on the forward momentum. Create a strategy to achieve your goals, but be patient and avoid any tendency to go for the "quick fix".   #9 The Taming Power of the Small, focus line 1 There is a lot of energy swirling all around us. Much of life is out of our control. Pay attention to the small details that may not look like much now, but will yield major results later. Also, look within to see what attitudes you may be carrying that undermine your sense of trust, or your ability to deal with others. Take care of your own affairs now, and work quietly and diligently to do the best you can.   #28, Excess, focus line 6 It's easy to say yes to small projects or requests. After a certain point, though, you may find that you have inadvertently burdened yourself with tasks and possessions that no longer fit with your worldview or your life goals. Now is the time to take a hard look at what is no longer needed, and to find the courage to release the things that are weighing you down. Discipline will be needed to find the courage to do so.   #39, Obstacles, focus line 3 Life rarely goes as planned, and this card means that there will be unexpected obstructions, frustrations, and struggles. Instead of panicking and indulging in victim mentality, take a beat to ground, calm down, and notice where inspired and empowered action is possible. The Big Picture is never fixed, so it's important to keep your energy fluid and in motion. If you have found that you have abandoned all of your everyday routines, do your best to restart some of them, as this also impacts everyone else around you. There will be a middle way to deal with your current difficulties.
Episode 19 - July 2024 I Ching forecast: Yin Metal Goat brings Conflict, Joy, Progress, and Following!
Jul 4 2024
Episode 19 - July 2024 I Ching forecast: Yin Metal Goat brings Conflict, Joy, Progress, and Following!
The Yin Metal Goat month runs from July 6-August 6, and the card of the month is #6, Conflict. It promises to be one of clarity, inner strength, boiling emotions, and sometimes hostility. It's more important than ever to stay grounded and work on disconnecting from the energies that are trying to control you. This doesn't mean that you need to hide in the closet! Use that inner fire to speak your truth, gather your tribe, and find the spark to continue to make incremental progress towards reaching your goals.   Card #58, The Joyous, focus line 1. Laughter is infectious, and can transform even the gloomiest of situations. Restore your surroundings with the gentle tinkling of it, even if it means you watch cat videos for several hours as you break away from the morass of the mundane and whims of the "what-ifs". Yes, dark clouds are everywhere it seems...but there are always silver linings if you look hard enough. And sometimes that means looking away until your heart is steady enough to move through the challenge.   Card #35, Progress, focus line 3. Now is the time to find your tribe, especially if you have been struggling to move towards the goal you've been aspiring towards. They will help you maintain momentum when you think you are ready to give up, and will celebrate you when you achieve your prize! Still, it's best to be alert to the beginning of the next cycle. Savor the sweetness of your accomplishments, but know that there is no full stop in the journey of life.   Card #17, Following, focus line 3. This card comes at a time when the world is fracturing into Us vs. Them. It's a timely card to help us evaluate if we are following a principled leader or one out for their own aggrandizement. Because it's line 3, it's signaling that it's time to "take the leap" from the old ways and move into the new group that best aligns with your soul's truth. Yes, that can come at the cost of mindsets and relationships but if they are constraining you and your growth, then it's for the best.   For your Joy Water or Joy Soak, please visit https://www.beverlybiehl.com/store For Remote Feng Shui, please visit https://www.theintuitiveinterior.com/book-now
Episode 17 - June I Ching forecast: Yang Metal Horse - Duration, Revolution, The Cauldron, Great Power
Jun 6 2024
Episode 17 - June I Ching forecast: Yang Metal Horse - Duration, Revolution, The Cauldron, Great Power
June 5-July 5 is the Yang Metal Horse month. It's a great month to excise bad habits. Horse aligns with the Fire element, so the yang metal fire combo will act as a heated scalpel, excising all that needs to go. Or starting a fire that could rage uncontrollably. It's all about choice. Card of the month: #32, Duration The image is of a mountain, and the wisdom of a mountain is of stability, commitment, and maturity. Awareness and knowing will guide us to a deep and silent knowing, unswayed by emotionalism or popular opinion. It's a month where we all need to OBSERVE events rather than getting caught up in the moment. Focus on creating and nurturing harmonious relationships. #49, Revolution, Line 1 Notice if you are feeling uncomfortable...you may simply be ready to expand into that idea you've been contemplating. Return to the present, and be prepared to release the old to make way for the new. Quantum leaps are rarely comfortable. Just because something worked in the past doesn't mean it'll work for the new opportunity! #50, The Cauldron, Line 2 Express your vision and creativity this month. The nudge to "go for it" may come in unexpected ways, such as dreams, songs, or overheard conversations. The Cauldron is an ancient symbol of a cooking pot, where various items were added and a delicious stew was the result. Be mindful of what you add...and when. Life is an invitation that eagerly waits for your participation! Use your wisdom to know how to receive the abundance that is here for you...and ignore the haters. #34, Great Power, Line 1 The card from the month of May shows back up again for a reminder that self-respect, character, and dignity are still being tested. Hard choices will have far-reaching consequences for yourself as well as for others. Be mindful that extreme positions come with deep price tags. Take care to not climb over others to achieve your goals, as this is a negligent use of power and could have massive karmic implications. Being a good leader is all about strength of character. Days to correct bad habits: 6/5, 6/15, 6/17, 6/27, 6/29   For individual readings or to purchase Joy Water, please visit www.BeverlyBiehl.com
Episode 15 - May 2024 I Ching: Great Power, Great Mother, Community, Pause
May 2 2024
Episode 15 - May 2024 I Ching: Great Power, Great Mother, Community, Pause
May 5-June 4 is the Yin Earth Snake month. The overall energy is characterized by #34, Great Power. This card indicates that this will be a month of illumination, of noticing where the examples of self-respect, character, and dignity are. It can be a month of self-restraint as others are swinging from one extreme to another. The Snake is considered lucky in Chinese culture, as it has the body of the Dragon. That makes this month extra potent in this year of the Dragon.   Card #2, The Receptive, Focus line 1: This "pure Yin" card is referred to in the Tao as the Divine Mother, eternally birthing all things. Last month we had the pure Yang card, so this month is the time to go within to see what seeds have been planted, and what needs to be nurtured. It's a call to pause, look at your impending transformation, and still keep moving forward.   Card #8, Holding Together, Focus line 5: This month holds the energy of "finding your tribe", of coming together to create a bond that will allow everyone to move in harmony. No longer is it cool for the "me first" attitude to disrupt the whole. Perhaps it's time for you to step up and become the glue that holds the group together!   Card #12, Standstill, Focus line 3: With all of the Yin Earth in the cards, it can feel like the Dust Bowl in the 1930's in the middle of America; clouds of fine dust clogging things up, making it difficult to see and even breathe at times. Back then, people had to retreat inside. This is time to turn inwards, to pretend that you are in a cozy retreat as you contemplate, create, and nourish your sense of well-being. Best days for May: 5/8, 9, 13, 20, 21, 25, 6/1, 6/2 Clash days (where friction can bring progress): 5/10, 11, 22, 23, 6/3, 6/4 Good days to get noticed: 5/5, 17, 29   **Contest! Episode 13 - April Forecast: Watch your Ego, Take Action, Stay Grounded, and Hold on TIGHT! Yang Earth Dragon
Apr 4 2024
Episode 13 - April Forecast: Watch your Ego, Take Action, Stay Grounded, and Hold on TIGHT! Yang Earth Dragon
When the month animal is the same as the year animal, the energy is doubled. This can feel scary and intense, but just remember that anything good can also get doubled! We are also experiencing Mercury Retrograde from April 1-25, so expect delays, frustrations, communication challenges, as well as fixing problems that needed closure, finding new pathways to understanding, and lots of creative problem-solving opportunities. Toss in a Full Solar Eclipse on the 8th, and it becomes even more exciting!   The I Ching card for the month of the Yang Earth Dragon is #10, Treading. It's primary message is to conduct yourself with great self-awareness and responsibility. Notice when the ego is driving the bus vs the Soul/essence. This is especially important with Mercury Retrograde, since many like to use that particular optical illusion as the excuse for bad behavior, rudeness, and making others wrong when the reality is closer to us not proceeding with the requisite caution and sensitivity. This month, notice when you are acting on "auto-pilot" when greater awareness is actually what is needed.   Clarifying cards:   36, Darkening of the Light, focus line 2 * This card felt a little too "on the nose" with the Eclipse energy that will be present at the start of the month. However, it's a great reminder to look inward first, to reduce your profile temporarily, and use your "down time" for self-development.   25, Innocence, focus line 6   * This month, expect that our open-heartedness and trusting nature will feel vulnerable. Various groups may try to sway you into contorting yourself into a protective and defensive stance. Resist this, as the ability to be spontaneous and enthusiastic will be needed to ride the waves of the doubled energy. Comparison and rationalization will only lead to exhaustion and frustration.   1, The Creative, focus line 6 * This card is a pure Yang card. It represents ultimate potential and is known as Dragon Power. It is the inspired spark that leads to creation and expansion. Be aware that the ego can distort this power with arrogance, leading to a fall. Notice when you are not listening to the divine feminine, as the pure Yin energy is always there to offer intuition, gentleness, and harmony.   35, Progress, focus line 2 *   Again, a little "on the nose" with this card. It's all about looking at things in the full "light of the day", with a focus on enhanced clarity and exposing what would have preferred to live in the dark. This card, which fell out unexpectedly, is a caution to again check the ego's need for "specialness". It's good to acknowledge one's efforts and successes, but dwelling on finding ways to impress others with your achievements may impact the ability to notice the actions necessary for the next move.   Conflict dates: 4/4, 4/16, 4/28 (Dog days) Spotlight dates: 4/10, 4/22, 5/4 (Dragon days)   https://www.theintuitiveinterior.com/book-now
Episode 12 - March 2024 I Ching Forecast: Reduce, Adapt, Share, Power of Integrity
Mar 14 2024
Episode 12 - March 2024 I Ching Forecast: Reduce, Adapt, Share, Power of Integrity
The Yin Fire Rabbit month translates to the I Ching card 41, Decrease. It's a month to use the Yin Fire energy to inspire a hard look at people, possessions, and passions to see if they still deserve a spot in your life. Decrease isn't always a bad thing. Think of it as Spring Cleaning. The decluttering and purging energy can increase resourcefulness, creativity, and lighten the energetic load.   The clarifying cards bring extra nuance to the energy of the month: #53, Development, focus line 6 This focuses on cooperation, integrity, making gradual progress, and being adaptable to changing situations. It's also speaking about the need to face where you need to improve yourself in order to get to the root of your challenges.   #42, Increase, focus line 4 Sharing your resources will help to expand your humanitarian footprint. This will in turn increase your own abundance by encouraging others to do the same. When combined with the "Decrease" aspect of letting go of clutter and excess, it can create win-win situations all around. #   34, Great Power, focus line 1 Many have the capacity to influence others on a grand scale. Without a strong character, this power can become distorted and show up as belligerence, dogmatism, or other example of gross egotism. If you find yourself in a position of power, take care that you aren't "punching down" to maintain that. Using power in a negligent manner will likely end poorly, so act with integrity and dignity. The path will be paved with honor and strength, not a crumbling veneer.   https://intentionalnetworker.com/books/ https://www.beverlybiehl.com/ https://www.theintuitiveinterior.com/
