Offenses Will Come
In the world today, there is an opportunity around every corner to become offended. Our culture's climate is ripe with reasons to be disillusioned and disappointed every single day. Add on situations that arise in relationships, both causal and intimate, that leave us feeling upset and wounded, and you see that what author and Bible-teacher John Bevere calls "the Bait of Satan", is just waiting for you to hold.
Jesus tells us in Luke 17:1 that it is impossible that no offenses should come, but what we do when faced with offense will be a determining factor in our spiritual, emotional, mental, and even physical health.
In this episode, hosts Cynthia Huffmyer and Jenni Zabel have an honest conversation about this important topic of offense in hopes to equip the Body of Christ in how to handle ourselves in a way that honors God and is best for us in the long run.
