Shia Muslim comes to Jesus. John Ghanim Part 3 of 3 with Anh Le
Hi this is Evangelist Anh Le, welcome to the Real Life Radio Show, and we are going to talk to Real People, who had real problems, but found answers in a Real God. Lately, we have been talking about discovering the truth about what it is like inside of Yemen, which has a 90-99% Muslim population. The country is comprised of mostly Sunni muslims, and the rest are Shia Muslims and Zaydi muslims. The nation has little to no Jews or Christians. Is there a reason for that? Well, in our last show, we had John Ghanim share with us how he went to Mecca, the holy site for muslims all around the world, and to him he felt like though he grew up believing that Jews and Christians were idolators, but then he witnessed everyone bowing down and worshipping a black box in the name of Allah, and he had a realization, that he could no longer believe what he was taught growing up as a young man in an all muslim that taught and retaught him again and again. He was in a dilemma, because he had serious doubts about his muslim faith, but he couldn't say anything, because it would lead to death according to Sharia law. So he lived on the outside as a muslim, but on the inside, he was tormented with anger, fear, anxiety, and depression. Until one day he fled the country at an opportune time, and as he travelled up north trying to get to Europe, he heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ from a turkish man. They invited him to church, where he heard the gospel, but most of all, he met so many loving people who were so happy. He wondered inside, what makes these people so happy? Today he is going to share with us more about what happened next. John, welcome back to the show.

She ran away only to find more pain, until Jesus. Tiffany Grant Part 2 of 2 with Anh Le
Hi this is Evangelist Anh Le, welcome to the Real Life Radio Show, and we are going to talk to Real People, who had real problems, but found answers in a Real God. in our last show, we have been talking about runaway children, and the adverse dangers they face to a world that is ready to harm them. Why do children runaway? Many children runaway due to experiencing abuse, bullying of some sort, mental health difficulties, and several other issues that can occur in the home. Did you know that 7% of youth in the USA ran away at sometime during the ages of 12 to 17? What are the realities of that for each child? Well, in our last show, we had Tiffany Joy Grant who ran away at a young age due to divorce occuring in her family, at the same time she suffered from some mental health difficulties. She ran away to find love and security within friends, but later she found out those who called themselves friends weren't real friends, as she was raped by someone who was helping her to have a place to stay. She quickly found refuge back at home, but didn't tell her mom due to internal shame, but even that incident couldn't keep her home long, and she ran away again and again, until she ended up in Juvenile hall. In there, she was reunited with her parents, but diagnosed with many mental health issues, and she was put on medication, but according to her, not to much avail. Today she is going to share how things got worse, but eventually, Jesus got a hold of her heart, and she had a radical change. Tiffany, welcome back to the show.

Heroin addict is set free from addiction. Whitney Harris Part 3 of 3 with Anh Le
Hi This is Evangelist Anh Le, welcome to the Real Life Radio Show, and we are going to talk to Real People, who had real problems, but found answers in a Real God. Lately, we have been talking about what percentage of Christian kids leave their parents faith, and change to becoming either an atheist, or a person of a different religion. According to a study done interviewing Harvard College students, apparently only 42% stayed with the same denominational Christian faith as their parents had. But out of that, 25% had become atheist, 14 percent felt the need to switch to a different religion, and 19% shifted to more liberal religions such as Unitarianism. Well, the numbers aren't as high as many in the world would tell you, but there is a good amount that becomes atheistic, which is 25%. But what happens to them as they get older? Do they all fall apart? Well, no. However, in our last show, Whitney Harris who is a former drug addict, was telling us about how she left her Christian upbringing to experience the life of doing whatever she wanted, just like the people of the world, and she got into methamphetamine addiction, ecstasy, and then eventually got into heroine. She told us how throughout all the partying and drugs, she would experience more depression and more emptiness through it all. Until the heroine addiction drove her to a new low. Today she is going to talk about that experience, and then show us how she came to know her deliverer, Jesus Christ. Whitney, welcome back to the show.

So she eventually left her faith and became cool, started living a life of smoking weed, cigarettes, and doing drugs, and she told us how she thought she was living on top of the world, until the drug addiction really set in and started dragging her through life. Let's hear her story. Whitney, welcome back to the show Whitney.

He believed in New Age until this happened! Diego Hinojosa Part 2 of 2 with Anh Le
Hi this is Evangelist Anh Le, welcome to the Real Life Radio Show, and we are going to talk to Real People, who had real problems, but found answers in a Real God. Lately, we have been talking about the fact that many students are having a decline in religion, but a huge increase in spirituality, specifically Liberal New Age Beliefs. In US colleges and university, you can see that those who prescribe to a religion declines from Freshman to Senior year, but an increasing incline to spiritual quests, looking for meaning, purpose, and higher levels of perception and reality. Could someone who is seeking New Age spiritual beliefs ever return back to their old religion? Well, in our last show, we had Diego Hinojosa share with us how he was a student in medical school, pursuing a future in Medicine in America, and he described how he grew up in a good family with religious ties to the Catholic faith. But as he went to school, he met friends who introduced him to partying, alcohol, and eventually into heavier use of marijuana. In school, he started to pursue more spiritual questions, and sought out new age beliefs. He studied them so much, that he became a teacher to others about new age beliefs and practices, such as the law of attraction, lucid dreaming, and Astro projection. As he was teaching, online he met a strong Christian, who shared the Gospel with him, and he realized he possibly was teaching false things. He began to search for truth. As he was online, he sought out testimonies of people encountering Jesus Christ, and he was convinced himself. He repented from his sins, and he began seeking out relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. And today, he is going to share with us how much this relationship with Jesus Christ has changed his life. Diego, welcome back to the show.

She was told "Throw up in order to go up". Marcela Esalo Part 3 of 3 with Anh Le
Hi this is Evangelist Anh Le, welcome to the Real Life Radio Show, and we are going to talk to Real People, who had real problems, but found answers in a Real God. Lately we have been talking about Bulimia Nervosa, a condition which mostly affects 1.3 % of females, and 0.5% of males, but it is a condition where someone binge eats, and then purges (vomits) up all their food so as not to gain weight. Listener discretion is advised, as the content you are about to hear is intended for a mature audience only. The causes of Bulimia are unknown to scientists, but they know that it can run in families. Why would someone torture themselves by being so obsessed with weight gain enough to go through extremes of making themselves throw up all their food?  Are there severe consequences to this behavior? Yes there are. In our last show we had Marcela Eslao tell us how bulimia became addicting to her because so many praised her for the accomplishments she had attained in her career, everyone was cheering her on, she was convinced she was doing the right thing. She described how hard on herself she was, to the point of self punishment that she even once inflicted serious injuries to herself using a knife on her arm, practicing self mutilation. One day she couldn't gag herself to throw up anymore, and that was the day that she lost everything and she gave up. She was at the lowest of the low, and all those who were with her in the success were no where to be found. Marcela, welcome back to the show.

In our last show we had Marcela Eslao tell us about how her eating disorder of anorexia came from a past event of being sexually abused by a babysitter, that caused her to desire finding a way to have control of her life. So she responded to any negative stimuli by not eating, and suffering from Anorexia. Later on, that developed into bulimia, where she used it to gain positions in her high school cheerleading. later on she found that it opened up doors of success in her life, but today, she is going to share more about the dark sides of that lifestyle.
