(This is an excellent testament to LinkedIn as a networking tool!)   We learn all about achieving financial independence, work-life balance, and much more.   This episode is also posted on ‘The International Schools Podcast, which I host with John Mikton, who joins us on the podcast halfway through. How to exhibit effectively at trade shows and exhibitions
Today's episode is a little different. Normally on this podcast, we focus on people running events, but today I thought it would be interesting to look at things from the other side, and take a deep dive into exhibiting at trade shows.   It’s especially interesting for me with my company AppsEvents as we are planning on exhibiting at some trade shows now that (hopefully) the World is starting to open up.   Here are some of the topics Jim gets into How even Small businesses can win BIG at Trade Shows7 secrets to help Small Businesses Win at Trade Shows...without spending an additional penny over their budgetWhy You need to be running your Trade Show booth like a 5-star restaurant  Jim Cermak is a Trade Show coach and the host of the Trade Show University podcast - noted as a Top 5% podcast globally.  Jim brings over 30 years of marketing, training and events, and loves sharing the success secrets from working and planning trade shows. He has been a judge for the 2021 Virtual Event Awards, is a partner of the Virtual Event Institute, and has collaborated with Caesar’s Entertainment.   You can reach Jim via: Email: jim@tradeshowu.biz Cell: 216-906-4715 LinkedIn @ https://www.linkedin.com/in/jimcermak/    Listen on: Apple Podcasts / Podbean / Stitcher / Spotify / YouTube / Google Podcasts   I hope you enjoyed the podcast and if you did then please, please leave us a review. Talking Crypto with GERBZ

Talking Crypto with GERBZ
Since I first heard about Crypto in 2012 I have been completely fascinated with the subject. There are so many rabbit holes you can go down; the tech side, the philosophical side which inevitably leads you to question ‘what is money?’.   This week I am joined by GERBZ, a very interesting player in the crypto space who runs the website https://bitlift.com/ which has some amazing resources to learn about crypto. I wanted to get GERBZ on the pod initially to give some concrete advice for people running live events so we start off by talking about how event producers can take payment in crypto.   We then freestyle about how GERBZ sees the future of crypto and the internet and stay tuned to hear his ‘end of 2011 price prediction.’   Gerbz is a developer and entrepreneur who's done over 10k crypto transactions with e-commerce customers since 2013. He co-hosts The BitLift Podcast, which helps people responsibly navigate their way down the crypto rabbit hole.    Listen on: Apple Podcasts / Podbean / Stitcher / Spotify / YouTube / Google Podcasts   I hope you enjoyed the podcast and if you did then please, please leave us a review. Martin Stoila - What happened with EventsFrame

Martin Stoila - What happened with EventsFrame
As long-term listeners may know, back when I started this podcast I launched a software system for event organizers to sell tickets called EventsFrame. To be honest, my main inspiration to start this podcast was in the hope of promoting it…. but that led to me really enjoying podcasting and the podcast has outlived my involvement with EventsFrame :)   Enter Martin. Martin is a serial entrepreneur living in Prague who I’ve known for many years. We used to be part of a weekend mastermind where a group of us would go off for a weekend to different towns and cities in the Czech Republic, book a conference room in a hotel and try to help each other out, followed of course by several beers in the evening. On one of these weekends, I was talking about how hard it was to juggle the software business with my events business and Martin said ‘why don’t I take it over’. The rest is history and Martin joins me on the pod today to talk about running an events software company during the worst time for live events in our lifetime!   Listen on: Apple Podcasts / Podbean / Stitcher / Spotify / YouTube / Google Podcasts   I hope you enjoyed the podcast and if you did then please, please leave us a review.
