opportunity to succeed! It will also help you understand that good should not be your stopping point; as
good can become the enemy of great.
Dr. Charles Olmeda, along with his wife Reina, is the senior pastor of Transformation Church, Lehigh
Valley – a multi-ethnic church with a passion to see entire families transformed and a passion to
empower the next generation. After twenty plus years in the pastoral ministry, a graduate degree in
theology and a PhD in Organizational Leadership, Dr. Olmeda acknowledges that sharing years of lessons
learned – both good and bad – will serve as tools to help, encourage, engage, and empower existing and
emerging leaders.
Dr. Olmeda has launched the Underdog Leadership Podcast for three primary reasons:
1. Provide leadership lessons from over 20 years of personal and academic experience that will
help solidify the leader / member (follower) relationship.
2. Highlight the stories of local, national, and global leaders who fit the description of an
underdog. That is, leaders that have overcome all sorts of adversities and have pressed
forward to experience success in undeniable ways.
3. Help leaders (he especially has a heart for pastors) by providing tools, conferences, and
leadership seminars that will help nurture the relationship between leaders and followers or
senior leaders and their staff in ways that enhance productivity.
