A Divine Interruption
The life of Samuel was one of divine interruption. He shows up on the scene in Israel during a season of darkness, compromise, tolerated perversion among the high priest Eli's sons, etc. His very presence represented the Word of God, and his prophetic calling was one based on righteousness, the worship of the God of Israel alone and an adherence to the requirements of God's precepts among His people. This week on Maintain the Flame I share Part 1 of a message recently preached at a Church in Charlotte, NC entitled, "A Divine Interruption." Be prepared to be challenged and encouraged by what you hear.
