Tommy, Hector, and Laurita meet each week in Tommy's shed, known as "The Hen House," in the West of Ireland. There's no agenda or rules. So listeners should expect unpredictable conversations and humor throughout. Their friendships are central to the show. The hosts are always warm and welcoming to each other and to listeners.
Each podcast episode is on a different, random topic. To give listeners an example, titles include "Leonardo Di Cabra" and "King Cong." Sometimes, the trio venture out of their shed and enjoy a beverage elsewhere. In one episode, they travel to Galway for a pint at Tigh Neachtain's and Garavan's Bar, a local pub. In another, they visit Leonards Grocery & Bar in Lahardane, County Mayo. The hosts discuss the latest news and what they've been up to each week.
In "Elon Lusk," they start by discussing the differences between how men and women text each other. When Hector messaged Tommy to let him know he was going into town, it took six hours for Tommy to respond. In stark contrast, they laugh about Laurita's usage of emoticons to let them know she misses them.
Hector then talks about a funeral in Tuam for a man unknown to the town. Without any family, the local pub held a wake for him with the coffin in the middle of the pub. It's a heartwarming tale about the Irish community spirit.
