Immovable Faith Podcast

Andrew Patocchi

Immovable Faith is founded in a deep, personal, and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. Immovable Faith comes from first hearing God’s word and then acting upon it. Jesus said those who hear His words, and do them, He will liken him to be a wise man who built his house on the rock. Jesus must be our daily rock. This rock will give us peace in the storm, praise in the ditch, and joy in the prison. When we build our life upon truly seeking Jesus with our whole heart, mind, and strength our foundation cannot be moved. We must walk and live in the fear of the Lord. This is the beginning of wisdom. Proverbs says, “The root of the righteous cannot be moved.” I’m Andrew Patocchi, your podcast host, and I’m here to help you with that. Join me as we search the scriptures and discover a greater understanding of our beautiful savior, friend, and Father. God bless you and thanks for listening. Join me @ andrewpatocchi.com read less

How To Give To God (3 Promised Blessings) | Ep. 81
I was asking God what's the best way to give to HimHow can I give to you God?Anyone who has truly received the revelation of Jesus Christ into their heart is asking this question daily.David said, "What shall I render to the LordFor all His benefits toward me?" (Psalm 116:12)I believe God answered me with these 2 questions to ask:1) What do you have?Jesus says to His disciples in the feeding of the 5000, “You give them something to eat.”And the disciples said to Jesus, “Shall we go and buy two hundred denarii worth of bread and give them something to eat?”But Jesus said to them, “How many loaves do you have? Go and see.”(Mark 6:37-38)Jesus asks them, "What do you have?"And then commands them to, "Go and see."God is asking you, what do you have?He has gifted you with something special.Talents, skills, ministry gifts, mercy, grace, a smile, a hug, a good word, etc.Go and give it to someone else.2) What do you lack?Sometimes our giving isn't giving out of our abundance, but it's giving to God out of our lack so we can get more of Him.This is what Jesus said to the young, rich ruler"One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me.” (Mark 10:21)The young, rich ruler's problem wasn't that he was young or rich. It was that he lacked a full hearted devotion to God.It was his riches that held back his heart from seeking God.We need Kingdom entrepreneurs, builders, and workers with some extra blessings to bless people. But it becomes a problem when those things possess you instead of you possessing them. So, ask yourself:1) What do you have?2) What do you lack? Then give to God.You can click the link below to listen to the full message on this topic.Connect With Me on Social Media👇🏼 My Website: andrewpatocchi.com Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@AndrewPatocchiTikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@andrewpatocchiInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/andrewpatocchi/Twitter: https://twitter.com/AndrewPatocchiChristian Store: https://simplyuncagedgifts.com/

Why Moses Wouldn't Take God's Call | Ep. 80
What held Moses back from answering the call of God on his life? What God thought about Moses, what other people thought about Moses, and what Moses thought about Moses were entirely different things.Moses had a great and mighty calling to deliver God's people out of bondage.Moses was a leader.Moses was shepherding souls in the wilderness.Moses was a prophet.Moses was called to instruct, lead, disciple, and correct people to their promise.Stephen said this about Moses:"And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words and deeds." (Acts 7:22)But Moses said this about himself:“O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither before nor since You have spoken to Your servant; but I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.” (Exodus 4:10)So Stephen said Moses was mighty in word and deed, but Moses said he was slow of speech (not eloquent) and slow of tongue?Moses delivered many powerful messages to God's people. What Moses thought about himself didn't matter to God.God said to Moses:“Who has made man’s mouth? Or who makes the mute, the deaf, the seeing, or the blind? Have not I, the Lord? Now therefore, go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall say.” ((Exodus 4:11)Here are Moses' 2 main issues that held him back from answering God's call:1. Self Abasement: the belittling or humiliation of oneselfhumiliation of oneself: causing yourself to feel ashamed and foolish by injuring your dignity and self respectbelittle: dismissive of your importanceSelf Abasement is NOT humility, repentance, or confession of sin. It's a lack of vision to see who God says you are in Christ2. Guilty fear: result of estrangement from Godestrangement: no longer being on friendly terms (Genesis 3:8)Guilty fear hit Moses and he ran away into the wilderness for 40 years (Exodus 3:15)So why am I sharing this message with you?Because many of you have the call of Moses on your life..To lead, shepherd, instruct, teach, disciple, and correct God's people out of their bondage, through the wilderness, and to their Promise. But there are 2 things that may be holding you back:1) Self Abasement2) Guilty FearI pray that you can see you how God sees you, not how you see you right now in your current season of life.God sees more than what you're capable of.He sees what He can do through you.“The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.” (Luke 18:27)You can watch the video on this topic by clicking the link below.Connect With Me on Social Media👇🏼 My Website: andrewpatocchi.com Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@AndrewPatocchiTikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@andrewpatocchiInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/andrewpatocchi/Twitter: https://twitter.com/AndrewPatocchiChristian Store: https://simplyuncagedgifts.com/
What does it mean to Surrender to God? | Ep. 79

What does it mean to Surrender to God? | Ep. 79
Just surrender to God.We hear it all the time. But what does it actually mean? And how do you do it?Some of y'all are being told to surrender to God and you'd love to, but you just don't know how. It's important to note that surrender isn't something you just do once. It's a daily decision. It's a lifestyle. It's a moment by moment attitude and posture of the heart toward God, His Word, and the Holy Spirit. Here are my 3 biblical definitions of surrender that work together in unison:1) to cease resisting to God and submit to HIs authority2) to give up or hand over a right, person, or possession to God3) to abandon oneself entirely to the will of the Father and the Holy SpiritI may be the first to tell you that surrender can be hard. But the more you do it, the easier it gets. It's like a muscle. Surrender is letting go. It's giving over the need to control everything.YoursSurrender leads to the peace and prosperity of your soul.James 4:7 says, "Submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you."What you can't control, surrender to God.It may be a dream, mindset, or future plan. If it's leading to mental bondage, you need to put it in God's hands."Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers."
