Indiana wants me, Lord, I can't go back there...
Podcast delayed is Podcast denied! On this week’s slightly delayed episode, Tovah and Eric discuss establishing a set-list of segments for each week.  Though still somewhat loose, there will be our relaxed Intro, then “World Peas”, with stories from around the world about pop culture and current events), then “Peas are Family”…, which are stories from the family archives and finally “Peas of Information”, where Eric asks random questions to get stream of consciousness responses from Tovah, and then a few closing comments. First up this week, we get derailed and talk about “The Country Bears” movie…an early 2000’s live-action movie based on the Disney Country Bears, and a riff on the “Blues Brothers” movie, when they try to get the "band" back together--some great cameos.  Sounds ridiculous, but a really good movie, in an insane way. Tovah brings it back around to the Kentucky Derby, and how that’s her scene…sure, if you like stupid hats. We go into a "Peas are Family" story from our family archives…this week, in honor of graduation season, Eric talks about the 2018 trip with Tovah to visit Indiana University, Maryland and Delaware…and the bloodletting that occurred in Indiana when Tovah did not express the appropriate amount of excitement in Bloomington!  Hysteria reigns supreme! We wrap up with a few random questions for Tovah…ahhh, the insight! Thanks for listening. Contact Eric@2peassamepod.com or Tovah@2peassamepod.com for more information. Ten Plagues...they're "terrible"
This week, from a remote location, Tovah starts off with a shout-out to her friend Connor, and re-visits the Lonely Island.  The she gets a lesson on the FCC and the First Amendment.   We throw the rock around the key a bit and talk women’s basketball, NCAAW and Caitlin Clark.  Tovah even watched the women’s draft, which she preferred to the NFL draft.   We talk a bit about Tovah’s hot internet takes, and how her brand of humor might be lost on some internet trolls.   Eric teases some info and background on his other podcast, currently in pre-production, “Restless Lawyer: Off the Record.”   Classic Tovah rant about someone on their laptop computer in the women’s locker room at Lifetime Fitness…that’s uncomfortable.   Tovah talks ten plagues at Passover…not the first ten episodes of this podcast!   We finish with some horseradish talk, and the Peas of Information Segment, where I toss Tovah random questions for her off the cuff answers.   Contact Eric@2peassamepod.com or Tovah@2peassamepod.com for more information. Quiet on Set!

Quiet on Set!
Eric and Tovah, the father-daughter podcast team, hit a bunch of topics this week. They talk about how Tovah sneaks pics in some of the most historical places in the world. We shift gears and talk about immersing ourselves in the local culture when travelling, and how that turned out in Pisa. We chat a bit about Tovah’s crazy multi-leg parlays for March Madness and how Josh’s Tar Heels blew up her parlays and bracket Special shout-out to a couple of big fans in Worcester.  If you’d like a shout-out, please email us or leave a comment! Francis Scott Key Bridge…oh say can you see…not the bridge! Eric and Tovah do a deep dive into the “Quiet on Set” documentary about the abuse that went on behind the scenes at the Dan Schneider produced shows on Nickelodeon…what a nightmare. The sad tale of those child actors, suffering at the hands of a power-hungry monster.  You will never watch those shows the same way again. Tovah tells us about how she walked out of the Bob Marley movie, which leads us to talk about the Never Ending Story…that movie is still going!  After another dive into the Nickelodeon crap-fest, we end on a funny story about Eric’s dad…a classic Gil moment…or two!   Contact Eric@2peassamepod.com or Tovah@2peassamepod.com for more information. First World Problems

First World Problems
On this episode, Tovah gives a shout-out to Max Troderman, guitar-player extraordinaire, pulling an Apple Studios-like moment on the top of some house in Amherst, MA on St. Patrick’s Day… We come up with some fast, hot takes…about the Beatles, JFK’s assignation and once again, in the “First World Problems” department, Tovah gets worried about her Amex Centurion/Delta Lounge access at the airport…and she tells a story about our last airport experience in Ft. Lauderdale and how we had to wait for lounge access…oh, the humanity… We also delve into the Kate Middleton conspiracy theories, but we recorded this before she made her announcement about her health…I’m NOT a royals watcher, but I hope this turns out for the best. We pledge our admiration for Messi, the dog at the Oscars, and once again, discuss our anti-Timothy Chalamet thing… Eric complains about a new Tik-Tok trend, and we close with a classic Tovah rant about a dry sauna experience at her health club that set her on edge.   Contact Eric@2peassamepod.com or Tovah@2peassamepod.com for more information.
