How To Discover and Utilize Coping Skills (To Keep You Whole and Kind) w/Lindsey Konchar
Meet Lindsey Konchar, MSW - author, social worker, coach, mom, wife, and newly certified financial therapist! She is so smart and so fun and we think you are going to love her and also resonate with what she has to share. Lindsey is the author of I've Got 99 Coping Skills but Being a B*tch Ain't One, where she catalogs 99 different coping skills - some you've heard of and some you haven't! In today's interview, we discuss some of the specific coping skills that Lindsey writes about in her book - and we love the turns and and nooks and crannies we get to discuss as a result. Lindsey also talks about her newest interest in helping women become confident and competent with their personal finance and how she is tailoring her coaching in that space. We can't wait to hear what you think of this episode! If this resonates with you, go and follow Lindsey, buy her book, and share the episode with a friend that would also love this conversation. 36: Connectedness Week 1 - Intro to Networking, Building Community, and Community Connectedness
In today's episode we are introducing a new series about "Connectedness." Today's episode introduces three different concepts that will be explored in more detail in future weeks: networking, building community, and community connectedness. Each of these get defined and discussed to lay the foundation for a deeper discussion in weeks to come.  Also, if you have been following along on any of our socials, you may know that we are hosting a meetup brunch event called "Women in Wellness" on 4/22 that is local to us in Central Washington State. The event is discussed in more detail, as well as more information (and us gushing) about our guest speaker, Dr. Tara Anderson, DNP, FNP-BC, ARNP, PHN, She is the CEO and Medical Director of Monarch Healthcare Solutions. 29: A Tool to Help You Prioritize and Narrow Your Goals When You Have a Lot of Areas You Want to Improve

29: A Tool to Help You Prioritize and Narrow Your Goals When You Have a Lot of Areas You Want to Improve
Courtney and Brigette discuss how they have received a question several times over the past few weeks that goes something like this, "I have so many things I want to do! How do I choose what to focus on?" The reality is we all have limits and finite resources (re: time!). There may be seasons we are in where we identify 35 things we want to work on or accomplish, and if we try to do them all at the same time, we're probably not going to do any of it well. This is setting ourselves up for failure and can even be a form of self-sabotage. In today's episode, Courtney and Brigette walk us through how to prioritize our goals. They discuss two key lists to make, and then suggest three filters that you can run your goals through to aid in removing some and prioritizing what remains to ensure the areas you're choosing to focus your time and energy are in alignment with your core values in the season you're in. This is a very tactical episode that is sure to be helpful throughout the year - not just while doing goal setting at the beginning of the new year!Connect With Us!Her Wholeness Website Facebook Podcast Community Her Wholeness on IG - @her_wholeness_podcastBrigette on IG - @brigettemiland Email us at herwholenesspodcast@gmail.comResources Referenced in this Episode:Brandon Turner - character and knowledge goalsCredits: Music by Elliot Dix Elliot on IG - @street_magik  We are so grateful for your listen and getting to connect with you!
